EDITOR’S NOTE
Spooky season is finally here! Let’s be honest with each other, October is one of the best months of the year. The weather is finally cooling off, you can start putting pumpkin in everything without being judged, and candy magically becomes a food group. Not to mention the fun of Halloween and getting to play dress up and look like any character, monster, or anything your heart desires, no matter your age!
This month, we’re leaning all the way into the season, with our Booling event on page 12 (yes, that is Halloween-themed bowling, and yes, it will be as fun as it sounds!). If you’re anything like me and your vibe is more sipping than striking, then Wine Night might be calling not just my name, but yours, too! On page 9, you can find all the details for a night filled with a collection of wine, bubbly, and hors d’oeuvres, which makes for a cozy, grown-up kind of magic. And of course, it wouldn’t be October without a themed drink. Page 20 introduces the Spiderbite ‘Rita, and if that name doesn’t give you the heebie jeebies, then I don’t know what will!
So, go put on your costume, grab a glass, and get ready to make some spooky memories. We’ve got plenty to look forward to this month, and I hope you find something in these pages that makes you laugh, connect, or just feel more at home.
