Gather feedback from member schools, studios, teacher trainers, and trainees on how to best evolve online teaching standards.

Schools have largely pivoted to online yoga teacher trainings during the pandemic, and they see both synchronous and asynchronous online trainings playing a role in YTTs going forward.

Hands-on or immersive content such as asana, teaching methodology, pranayama, and meditation are considered better suited to synchronous (live online) trainings.

There is latitude to move more content to pre-recorded trainings – especially history, philosophy, professional development, anatomy and physiology, and ethics –which are viewed as equally effective whether taught live online or pre-recorded.
