產學攜手 綻放設計澎湃熱力 ! 歷經 34 年發展的新一代設計展，透過一年一度的展覽，匯聚來自國內外的新銳設計師作品，結合 新生代設計師的創意及台灣產業的資源共同投入，不僅呈現了設計新秀們在大學四年中實踐創意 設計的歷程，更盡情展現了新世代設計師前衛、大膽的設計主張。 今年已邁入第 35 個年頭的新一代設計展，已逐漸成長為具規模且成熟的大型展會，持續受到國內 外各界的矚目，目前已是全球歷史最悠久，規模最大的設計科系畢業生聯展。感謝這一路上，所 有曾參與的設計師們，在一年的籌備過程中，努力揮灑自己的汗水，貢獻美好的青春與無限創意 的能量，讓精彩的成果得以具體呈現在展覽之中。也因為各位的努力，讓新一代設計展，能夠一 年一年、持續以嶄新的面貌，帶給各界令人驚豔的成果。 近年來，新一代設計展為了讓設計科系學生的創意能量能與產業進一步結合，特別關注於產學間 的合作交流。已邁入第 2 年的【新一代設計產學交流 ‧ 畢業專題徵件暨企業大獎】活動，協助參 展同學進一步與業界合作，提供應屆畢業生最接近實務的指導，在參與計畫的過程中，能夠進一 步瞭解市場需求，提高作品量產與實際應用之機會。今年新一代設計展主視覺，亦是透過產學合 作計畫，決選出實踐大學媒體傳達設計學系陳俊吉同學的作品「熱」，做為本屆展覽主視覺，運 用暖色系的極致：紅，為主色系，透過鮮豔、明亮，充滿活力與生命的色彩，除了讓今年的展覽 呈現不同以往的全新風貌，同時也象徵新生代設計師對於設計澎湃的熱情，宣告歷經 35 年的新一 代設計展，將持續散發青春的熱力與能量 ! 此外，為了讓喜愛動畫、遊戲設計及多媒體的朋友可以一次看遍精彩作品，新一代設計展今年也 特別在世貿 3 館推出「動畫與遊戲設計展區」，集結所有動畫遊戲與多媒體設計類的作品共同展 出，內容包羅萬象，從清新的微電影、各種生動、有趣的小遊戲，到多媒體、短片及動畫，參觀 民眾不僅可以盡情觀賞，也可以近距離親身感受震撼的影音效果及聲光體驗，帶給大家與眾不同 的感官震撼 ! 新一代設計展作為新生代設計師們交流激盪的平台，是他們 Show 出無限的創作熱力的重要里程， 誠摯請大家一起支持並關注台灣年輕設計力的發展，讓這群設計精銳，持續擴散對設計澎湃的熱 情與活力，並將之傾注於未來，成為台灣產業發展上一股向上提升、不斷精進的重要力量！
Industry-Academic Collaboration Helps Bloom Design Enthusiasm! After going through 34 years of exhibitions, the annual Young Designers’ Exhibition (YODEX) has aggregated new design works from cutting-edge designers both at home and abroad, combining the involvement of creativities from the new generation of designers and resources from Taiwan’s industries. Not only has it fulfilled the creative design process of promising young talents during their four years of practices in universities, but also fully displayed the avant-garde and daring design ideas of the new generation of designers. Entering the 35 consecutive years this year, YODEX has gradually grown into a large-scale and mature exhibition, and continued to catch the limelight from all walks of life in Taiwan and overseas. Currently, it has become the world’s oldest and largest joint exhibition for the Design Department graduates. We would like to thank all participating designers for working their hearts out during the preparatory course over the year, and contributing their splendid youth and eternal innovative energy to showcase the exciting results specifically in the exhibition. Your great efforts will allow YODEX to stand out brandnew each year, and bring amazing results for all sectors of the community. In recent years, YODEX has allowed the creative energy of Design Department students to further integrate with the industry and pay greater attention on industry-academic collaboration.The “Designer Venture Challenge project, which has already entered the second year is assisting the participating students to further cooperate with the industry, providing graduate students with the closest practical guidance in the program participating process, and allowing them to have a deeper understanding of the market demand and improving their chances of work productivity and practical applications. This year, the work “Fever” created by student Chen Jun Ji of Department of Communications Design, Shih Chien University has been selected by YODEX through an industry-academic collaboration program. It uses the ultimate warm color of red as the thematic color, representing the vibrant life color through the vivid and bright visually effect. Besides presenting a brand new style as compared with the previous exhibitions, the color also symbolizes the surging enthusiasm of the new generation of designers and declaring that the 35th YODEX will continue to spread the youthful fever and energy! In addition, to allow animation, game design and multimedia enthusiasts to view all the brilliant works at one time, YODEX has particularly launched the “Animation and Game Design Exhibition Venue” at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 3 this year. This venue has gathered all kinds of animation games and multimedia works to showcase everything from high-resolution new micro-films, various vivid and interesting little games, multimedia, video clips and animations, etc. Not only can visitors view the comprehensive contents happily, but also experience the stunning audio-visual, sound and light effects personally at close distance. They will sure to bring everybody with extraordinary sensory shock! YODEX serves as a brainstorm exchanging platform for the new generation of designers, and is also an important milestone for them to show their unlimited creative passion. We sincerely hope everybody to support and concern the development of young Taiwanese’s design capabilities, allowing these design elites to spread their bursting enthusiasm and energy on designs, and devote their life to the future to become an important force to upgrade and continue to refine Taiwan’s industrial development!

Domus Academy Domus Academy was founded in 1982. During the first years, Domus Academy invited leading designers such as Starck, Bellini, Castiglioni, and Bonetto to teach in the academy. The stream of ideas they brought with them was very fruitful in encouraging a collaboration between the designers who operated in the wellestablished product design field and those operating in the new design disciplines. Today, Domus Academy has remained faithful to one of its fundamental founding principles: that rather than just offering new solutions, design also has the responsibility of revealing new problems. 利服裝設計暨時尚管理學院所展出的畢業生作品。這是由 畢業校友 Yojiro Kake 所設計的一個系列，Yojiro 在 1983 年 出生於日本兵庫縣，大學時期在日本大阪就讀時尚，畢業 之後以印花圖藤設計師的身份在幾家私人公司工作，之後 他為了想再深化自己的創意以及對時尚的想法，他選擇遠 赴時尚之都佛羅倫斯就讀 Polimoda，目前在佛羅倫斯工作 與生活。

Polimoda International Institute Fashion Design & Marketing Yojiro Kake was born in Hyogo Japan in February 1983. After finishing high school he went to study Fashion in Osaka Japan. After graduating, he worked within a private company as patternmaker and designer. While he cherished his work, he quickly became convinced that in this area of manufacturing, the only objective was at making a profit. Yojiro decided to return to study fashion, this time outside of Japan, in order to rediscover and establish his own ideas, beliefs and creativity. He left the company and made the life changing decision to study at Polimoda International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing in Florence, Italy, where he is now based.

Appedu Design Training Institute opened in 2011 in Taipei. It is currently Taiwan's largest,specialized training Institute having schools in front of terminal station in Taipei and Tauyan(2016.05). We provide a cutting-edge learning environment with diverse cooperation with world leading companies. There are about 3,000 students here learning about game, CG, animation, interio design, grahpic, web, and Industry fields. 新一代設計產學交流畢業專題徵件暨企業大獎 Designer Venture Challenge 本計畫邀請國內具代表性企業出題，徵求優秀學生團隊以 畢業專題挑戰 10 個不同產業領域出題內容。本次展區將呈 現業界導師與學生團隊交流的過程與成果，邀請大家一同 體驗「產」與「學」激盪出的創新能量。 The competition invited enterprises raised different topics for students’graduate project. This exhibition presents the interaction and achievements between the enterprises and the selected students. We would like to invite the audience to experience the creative energy from their interaction.
