When you get 250 people in a room to support a cause, it is magical! Take a look around the room. The people at your table, those across the room, some you do not know and some you do all share the same desire to help others! Coming together at the YMCA of Metro North Where in the World Celebration is a commitment to your community! THANK YOU for joining us in raising funds to support YMCA scholarships! We are committed to never turning anyone away for inability to pay! In 2018, this meant providing over $1.1M in scholarships! THANK YOU for being an ambassador of our YMCA in the community! Your thoughtful referrals of families in need, folks looking for employment and help identifying partners that strengthen our mission is appreciated! With over 800 employees and 50 plus community partners, our work is relationship based! THANK YOU for whatever role you have in our YMCA family. Whether you volunteer, engage as a member, simply join us at events or choose us as your charity of choice, we could not do our work without your help! Our YMCA is better because of you! THANK YOU for participating in tonight’s event! Every single dollar we raise through the silent and live auction, the wine pull, the raffle ticket sales, the annual appeal and even the drink tickets will be instrumental in supporting a local child, family, senior or teen with funds for YMCA services.
