Anong“SANAALL”statementmo?
Nauso satin ngayon ung pagsasabi ng sana all–lalosamgakabataan Forthosewhoare notfamiliarwithit,"S
familiar with it, Sana All is a slang phrase often used on social media and in casual conversations sa bansa natin
It translates roughly to I wish everyone or I hope everyone experiences that" It’s usually used when someone sees something good or desirable happening to someone else, and they express a playful or light-hearted longing to experience the same thing
For example Kapag mayroong nagpost kanilang dream vacation, others might com All," implying they also hope to have that Or, If someone talks about receiving g others might say "Sana All" to express a w same good fortune
It’s a way of acknowledging someone else or achievements while also expressing sometimes humorous, desire to experience thing
trust, we, too, can say “ yes ” to hope, even in life’s most difficult moments We are never alone in our struggles; Mary walks with us, pointing the way to Christ, the source of our ultimate hope

This brings us to the heart of this issu "Mary, Our Mother of Hope" As Catholi truly blessed to have Mary as our greates a mother who never tires of bringing our prayers to her Son, Jesus If there is one p embodies the true essence of "Sana All," it’s is the beacon of hope not just for some, who come to her with open hearts
When we turn to Mary, we ’ re reminded th never far away Just as she said yes to Go

WWhy did I name our community Feast Light HOPE?

BY:MARONANTHONYRODRIGUEZ
hat is HOPE? Naaahhh, you might be thinking of a cigarette now but that s not what I m referring to
Years ago, I co-founded a small community named Feast Light Hope. It’s a small online fellowship wherein we just listen to a replay of a talk from a community called The Feast then we share our reflections from the talk afterwards
It’s simply because the word “Hope” is very significant to us. For us, Hope is the flame that keeps the human heart alive when life feels overwhelming It is the light we cling to when everything else seems lost, a beacon that points us toward something greater than ourselves But in a world filled with pain, uncertainty, and fear, hope can sometimes feel fragile like a flickering candle about to be snuffed out by the winds of life’s struggles
Amazing, right? But how can we deepen our understanding of Hope?
Here s something that you might not yet know In the silence of Nazareth and the sorrow of Calvary, there’s this one woman who teaches us that true hope is unshakable, enduring, and rooted in God
Who is it? It’s no other than our Blessed Mother Mary In this world that we ’ re living in, there is a kind of hope that does not falter, even in the face of storms and shadows a hope that burns like a lamp in the darkest night, steady and sure This is the kind of hope Mary, our Blessed Mother, carries in her heart And it is this hopeful heart that she gives to the world as her most precious gift
Mary, our Blessed Mother, offers us a profound example of what it means to hope, not as the world hopes, but as one whose heart is fully anchored in God’s promises Her life was not free from trials she faced questions she could not answer, journeys she could not predict, and pain she could not avoid Yet, through it all, her heart radiated a hope that inspires the world even today
When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary in the quiet town of Nazareth, bringing news that would forever change her life, Mary responded with courage and faith. "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38) It was a moment of profound trust and unwavering hope Mary could have let fear take over After all, she was a young girl with no certainty about what the future held But she chose to believe in God’s promises, embracing her role in His divine plan with a heart full of hope
Her “ yes ” to God was not without its trials From the moment she carried Jesus in her womb to the heartbreak she endured at the foot of the Cross, Mary’s life was one of constant surrender and faith. Yet, through it all, her heart remained steadfast How? Because Mary s hope was not anchored in circumstances it was anchored in God She knew that no matter how difficult the road, God’s love and plan would prevail.

Mary ’ s hopeful heart is her gift to us too She shows us that hope is not just wishful thinking; it is a deep trust in God’s promises It is believing, even when life feels uncertain, that He is working all things for our good (Romans 8:28)
When we feel burdened by life s challenges, we can look to Mary as our guide Imagine the quiet strength she must have drawn from her hope when she fled to Egypt with Joseph and baby Jesus to escape Herod’s wrath (Matthew 2:13-15) Picture her walking the dusty roads to visit Elizabeth, bringing with her not just physical presence but also the joy and hope that overflowed from her heart (Luke 1:39-45) And at Calvary, as she stood beneath the Cross, we can only marvel at how her hope in God’s plan held her together during her deepest sorrow
Mary teaches us that hope is active. It is not simply waiting for things to get better; it is trusting and moving forward, even when we cannot see the whole picture She invites us to do the same
When life feels overwhelming, and we find ourselves struggling to hold on, Mary reminds us that we do not hope alone She is with us, guiding us toward her Son, Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate source of our hope "Do whatever He tells you " (John 2:5), she said at the wedding at Cana a loving reminder that Jesus always knows what we need, even when we do not
This is Mary’s gift to the world: a hopeful heart that inspires us to trust, surrender, and believe. She calls us to open our hearts to her Son and let Him transform our pain, fears, and doubts into something beautiful Through her example, she lights the way for us to live with hope, even in the most trying times
So, when the weight of the world feels heavy, turn to Mary Ask her to lend you her hopeful heart Pray that she may walk with you, as a mother who understands your struggles and knows the path to her Son Let her remind you that with God, all things are possible (Luke 1:37) and that His plans are always for your good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11)
A hopeful heart is not just Mary’s gift to the world it can be ours, too. All we need to do is trust, as she did, and say “ yes ” to God’s plans for our lives

May Mary’s gift of hope bring light to your heart today and always Let her guide you closer to Christ, who is the reason for our hope and the fulfillment of all our desires In her, we find hope Through her, we find Christ

Ito ay hindi lang basta religious teachings pwede rin natin silang gawing gabay sa pang-araw-araw na buhay natin So, here’s a breakdown of these dogmas in a relatable way!

mmaculate Conception ay nagsasabing si Mama Mary ipinaglihi nang walang bahid ng kasalanang orihinal hshort, e was pure from the start! Paano ‘to related sa everyday life?

Maria, KAUPODSAPAGKABALAAN MASS RALLY MASS RALLY FORPEACE2024
MODELOSAPAGPANGAMUYO,

It was four years ago when the Covid-19 pandemic first affected the Philippines Who could forget the fear and
and anxiety that engulfed us all on the 30th of January, 2020? On that day, the 38-year-old Chinese woman, who was confined at San Lazaro Hospital in Metro Manila, was confirmed to be infected with the virus, marking the first case of Covid-19 in the country It felt as though everything changed in the blink of an eye When local transmission of the virus began, the national and local government units immediately imposed lockdowns, enhanced community quarantines (ECQ), social distancing, and mandatory wearing of face masks and face shields No one was excused or exempted from these measures As a result, all planned activities were halted Many of us likely found ourselves reflecting on the question, “What will happen next?” Sadly, the answer was nowhere to be found, only fear, anxiety, and uncertainty
The fear and anxiety of the pandemic remain vivid in my memory. I was still at the Silay seminary before the local transmission of the virus took hold We were preoccupied with planning and preparing for upcoming events in YMC, such as the February First Friday Vigil, YMC Summer Sportsfest, and Leadership Seminar Tuloy ang misyon! We were excited and enthusiastic about our future activities We even began giving protocol letters to the principals with smiles on our faces and had already announced the upcoming events to our YMC members to fuel their excitement
Br. Ivan Vinze John Rey Ma. C. Tapayan, MMHC MMHC Pangasinan Mission

These were routines we followed every end of the school year, and we were used to it until March 16, 2020, when the local government units of Negros Occidental announced a region-wide lockdown and the implementation of community quarantines due to local transmission of the virus. As a result, all our scheduled YMC activities were canceled The cancellation of these activities truly broke our hearts Our apostolate, which we considered the "outpouring of our community life," "the seedbed of our vocation," and "the manifestation of the charism of our congregation," was compromised by this virus The joy turned into fear, the excitement into anxiety, and the zeal into uncertainty What would happen next? Indeed, what we found were fear, anxiety, and uncertainty, but what fueled us to continue? Faith Tuloy ang misyon!
Our faith led us to venture into the online world, attempting to bring the YMC to social media It was a difficult task, as we weren’t familiar with it, but we did our best to answer the call of the times Looking back at our online activities, I can confidently say that we made it! We survived all the online SR meetings, online recollections, online Mariologies, YMC content online postings, online Christmas Parties and caroling concerts, and even the congregation’s biggest annual activity, the Grand Rosary Rally! It seemed impossible, but we did it! I will never forget the first Online GRR in 2020, held in Silay with the theme, Mary, Health of the Sick Lead us to Christ for Unity and Peace ” I was a pastoral-year brother back then The second online GRR was held in Marikina in 2021 during my first year of theology, with the theme, “Maria, Sisidlan ng Pag-asa sa Panahon ng Pandemya ” In 2022, during my second year of theology, the last online GRR was held again in Marikina with the theme, “Maria, Ina ng Kabataan at ng Sambayanang Pilipino ” Finally, the first onsite GRR took place in 2023, held in Pangasinan with the theme, “Mary, Mother and Model of the Synodal Church This time, I was in my third-year theology formation. Recently, we thanked the Lord and the Blessed Mother because our GRR found its way home again to Negros, and who would have thought that I am now a perpetually professed member of the community? Time really moves so fast and mysteriously

Finally, on October 3, 2024, the Marian Missionaries of the Holy Cross and the Youth for Mary and Christ, after the onslaught of the pandemic, held the Grand Rosary Mass Rally for Peace at the University of St. La Salle Coliseum, Bacolod City, with the theme, “Maria, Modelo sa Pagpangamuyo, Kaupod sa Pagkabalaan ” It was attended by more than 5,000 participants, including students, educators, members of religious congregations, and YMC members. The program began with a moodsetting led by the MMHC priests The participants then sang "Immaculate Mother" and waved their flaglets as the Blessed Virgin Mary was brought onto the stage Rev Fr Julius Ma Dayandante, MMHC, gave the inspirational talk, stressing the importance of following Mary's example of prayer, sacrifice, and service The praying of the Holy Rosary and the coronation rites followed Mother Mary was honored with the imposition of the crown, rosary, leis, and flowers offered to her as gifts from different schools and organizations To culminate the activity, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Patricio Buzon, Bishop of Bacolod, together with MMHC priests
I was there and witnessed this historic event in our congregation Yes, the question “What will happen next?” during the pandemic now seems absurd because the future was uncertain, but seeing my community once again dancing and singing the classic songs of the GRR 2024, watching the 5,000 young people praying the Holy Rosary, seeing the procession of the Blessed Mother, and appreciating the elegant design of the GRR, I couldn t help but utter these words: Thank you, Lord and Mama Mary!” After everything we ’ ve been through, all I can say is “Thank you ” If we hadn’t kept the faith and believed in prayer, our mission might have vanished too Thanks be to God, for we have survived the pandemic Indeed, everything is grace! The historic homecoming of the GRR in Negros is truly a manifestation of “Tuloy ang Misyon!” Let the theme of the GRR 2024 echo in our hearts: “Maria, Modelo sa Pagpangamuyo, Kaupod sa Pagkabalaan ” Together with Mary, let our prayers be our source of strength and unity as we continue the mission towards holiness!

The wheel moves continuously, and the flame flickers as I face the diverse hardships in my life It is a chaotic existence filled with Br. Ignatius Jayson Ma. Fajardo, MMHC MMHC Dumaguete Mission
with financial instability and uncertainty How can I tell others that God has changed my life and that He loves me when my own family remains closed off, like a shell deep in the sea one I cannot courageously open? How can I break the stigma of diverse beliefs in faith within my family when we are not united in seeking and encountering the true meaning of faith? How can I serve God if I do not serve my own family? Am I truly a genuine servant of God? These questions often linger in my mind, forming the core dilemma of living as a consecrated person
I wonder why such struggles persist even as I serve God Does my life truly change as I serve Him? At times, I feel as though I underestimate God's plan for me Yet, I remind myself that every situation has meaning and purpose These hardships occur, in part, due to my own imperfect actions I must learn to trust Him in all aspects because He knows everything, and His power far surpasses mine.
When my tears of hardship fall, I close my eyes and imagine God speaking to me, embracing me This thought relieves the heaviness within In these moments, I find solace in silence, reading the words of St Francis de Sales:
"Lord, I am Yours, and I must belong to no one but You My soul is Yours and must live only by You My will is Yours and must love

only for You I must love You as my first cause since I am from You I must love You as my end and rest since I am for You I must love You more than my own being since my being subsists by You I must love You more than myself since I am all Yours and all in You."

After such prayers, the pain within subsides I often end by saying, "Lord, I am ready to be with You," reminding myself to live each day as though it were my last This mindset inspires me to make every moment meaningful and fruitful
As I meditate on death daily, it strengthens my resolve to live life to the fullest To die for the Church, to die for the people, and to die for the world these thoughts illuminate my purpose St Ignatius of Loyola once defined death as a companion to life that, rather than shrouding it in anguish, illuminates it with the joyous light of grace A meaningful death allows us to see life as a gift, a loving grace from God This realization fills me with joy for living because lucidity triumphs over absurdity
Reopening my vacation testament, I am reminded that acceptance and values are the keys to embracing the Cross, the Joy in the Cross.

Former YMC Animator of Cainta Catholic College
Current YMC Animator of Cainta Senior High School

“A LEADER IS ONE WHO KNOWS THE WAY, GOES THE WAY, AND SHOWS THE WAY.”
Isang malaking karangalan ang maging issang trainor, bakit? dahil sa pagiging trainor maraming kabataan

MBakit?
aglilingkod bilang trainor Noong naging trainor ako, doon ko nalaman ang tunay na kahulugan ng J O Y : JESUS you spend more time with Him, and He will never disappoint you as you help teach the youth; OTHERS your time teaching the youth is never a waste because the time you give them is something that pleases the Lord; YOURSELF kung hindi ako tumugon sa tawag Niya na maging trainor, hindi ko marerealize ang totoong kahulugan ng J O Y Kaya’t isang napakasayang karanasan ang maging isang trainor
