The third DE&I Community Conversation centered around how organizations can leverage data to advance their DE&I journey. Katerina Rodriguez, Future of Work leader at ADP, shared how employers can effectively measure the “I” (inclusion) by better measuring three distinct aspects: do employees feel seen, do they feel heard and do they feel valued in the workplace. Employers can effectively measure this by gauging responses by their employees to twelve questions that provide valuable data into these areas. By better understanding these areas, they can start to correlate this data to turnover, retention and identify at risk groups within their workforce. Leveraging broader data can help organizations gain a more granular understanding of areas of opportunity, drivers of diversity and address areas of adverse impacts. Katerina challenged the group to think differently by understanding moments that matter along the employee journey that impact the employee experience.
