4th May 2025: YEF HEATS: Submission of Video Audition
9th May 2025: YEF HEATS: Announcement of Results.
29th June 2025: YEF National Finals at Gateway Theatre, Blackbox.
Electone model ELS-02C STAGEA Custom is required to be used for the competition

Performance Piece Criteria
Past winners are welcome to participate, but not allowed to repeat any of their Grand Prix/Prize award-winning pieces in any YEF/APEFVA/YEF Grand Final of previous years. All participants are advised to play without scores.
Video Submission Criteria
Videos can be recorded on any mobile device that allows 1080p recording.
Recordings are required to be in landscape format.
Recordings must be done in a static position (no camera movements), either by using a tripod or any support structure.
Please give a short introduction stating your section, full name and song piece before performing
Please give a pause of 5 seconds before the start of your introduction and after the end of performance.
Judging Criteria
Performances will be judged based on creativity, technique, musicianship and tone colour
Judges may declare no winner for any award in the competition category if they deem sufficient merit has not been achieved.
Judges decisions are final, no enquiry will be entertained
