This month is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster as we bid farewell to Ash as she heads off on her maternity leave adventure.
Ash has been with me since day one, starting out with us at just 18 years old. We've been through it all, seen her grow, get married, and now we ' re cheering her on as she begins the incredible journey of motherhood
To be honest, I'm not quite sure how I'm going to manage without her She's been my rock, my sounding board, and I'm dedicating this month to celebrating just how much she means to me.
She's not just special to me – she's become part of our family, valued by our entire team and I know many of you feel the same way
Oh, and let's not forget about Maxi –He will need some therapy and extra
cuddles to get through this transition too, we have decided to have joint custody of Maxi
So, this month you might find me throwing myself into work even more than usual, but I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your support during this time of change. We couldn't do it without you

My name is Sascha and I’m so excited to be apart of the YL team.
I’ve been in beauty my entire career, hopping from pharmacy, makeup artistry, salon coordinating and in e-commerce
My love for makeup and beauty extends outside of work, I will often spend weekends doing makeup clients, hanging out with my pomapoodle baby, my bf & besties I am also the biggest foodie ever and adore trying new food spots, especially whilst travelling!

What is your favourite thing about working at YL? I adore our team culture, salon atmosphere and the my general job tasks
What does a typical day at YL Salon look like for you? It’s different every day, but when I’m on salon coordinator duty it’s a mix of managing bookings and client queries, answering emails/phone, orders & invoicing, various admin tasks and helping the girls out with coffees, client notes & consultations, etc!
