Prosciutto e melone as a summer dish is itself an expression of freshness and minimalism. As designers, it was our duty to serve the simplicity of the recipe and flaunt its completeness. The modesty of the design is harnessed without compromising the functionality in the space. The principle impression of the abstraction is proposed to the client, garnished with the Mediterranean finishes. The overall concept revolves around the way prosciutto e melone is served on the plate. The fundamental activities that are to be executed are focused in the central envelope of the room.

The softness of the melon, the presence of the fat, the peculiar taste and the seasoning of the overall dish is judiciously manifested using the materials used in the space. The pvc blownup chair appends to the juicy sentiment of the melon.

Prosciutto e melone is a summer dish in which a melon section is served with a layer of ham slice laid over it. The dish has an overall bright advent. The materials used in the site are purely chosen to resemble the sense of Prosciutto e melone in terms of its taste, texture and its appearance. The walls of the room are wrapped with Melon green coloured linen tapestry to express the freshness of a melon. Limestone is used in the central stretch of the room to envisage the seasoned temperament of the dish. Cream shade satin is running from the bed, the headboard to the ceiling to add the softness to the space and represent the fat content of the Prosciutto. The footer, the ceiling and the flooring on the either sides is overlaid with the white toned terrazzo to add the mischievousness of salty and sweet taste in the room.

The cafe located in La trienale in Milan, it is surrounded by greeny garden: Parco Sempione. Therefore,We decided to put the nature element inside the Cafe, but in a contemporary way, inspired by Harry Bertoia - Sonambient. Connected to the feeling of standing in a silver grass field, and feel the movement created by wind. In the case, inviting the costomer to come in the cafe to be a musician, interacting with Sonambient, and make the brass installation create music.

Creating a silence space in order to listen to the sound of Sonambient,and inmerse in the atmosphere of the cafe . The use of acoustic ceiling and fabric furniture is the aim to decrease the noise in the space.

Bar design is the eye catching part of the Cafe, we continue the design concept to cover the window with brass tube, and play with the gradient of the space. The led light lighten up the glass finishing, and create a gradient colors.

“Nangang settlement � (former Nangang bottle cap factory) is the area located in Nangang district, in Taipei ,and now it is no longer a factory after relocation. This project is about how to reborn the ruins, give the spaces a new life and protect the historic factory. From producing cork board, iron, aluminium cap, decorative printing , the factory went through Japanese-Occupied Period and the period of Republic of China. We choose the period of cork-making to be our main design model. Take advantage of the cork, such as sound-proofing, light, and variable to create a new and old conflict spaces.

The cork corridor and the machine operation sound. The concept of the interior is to create the five senses of experience journey. Playful, and interaction are the main point of the design. In the period of cork-making, these products were mostly for the deck, which are sound-proofing and float-able. As a result, walking through the ramp is just like getting on a historic boat, more over, be surprise by the variable cork form.

SENSE OF CORK Using modern way to make the manufactured goods that the factory had make before to the distinguishing feature in order to create a new concept area. Use the manufacture material to be the characteristic of each building, and create a new culture settlement. The ramp in the middle create a accessible corridor, and people can appreciate the cork-making process while walking through it. Also, we use the space under the ramp to exhibit some historic products and material.

My grandma owns a rice store, she loves to chat with consumers when they come to visit. But now, she is no longer have the strength to manage the shop, she need to stay at home and rest. Reforming a wooden stool from the store, giving it a new life to the chair. The extractable rice bag cushion preserve the characteristic of the rice store, and remind my childhood-sitting on the rice bag , while people come to visit grandma, the chair can represent the store and shows the precious memories.

The original wooden chair is traditional style stool of Taiwanese`s wood-making culture. Trying the best to preserve the four legs of the chair, grinding out the coating color, and show the original willow`s color. Adding three new elements, the low iron seat back, represent the history of the store, while the new pine wood seat hold the rice bag cushion by making a groove.

Designing a modular shoe rack as a task. Inspired by my childhood toy : snowflake puzzle, create two different length piece of basic element, and we can create various size and looking shoe rack.The name come from an interesting way, because there is always a different way to construct the shoe rack.

Bicycle has now become a very common daily transport in most of the countries. Being a bicycle owner, the safety of the bicycle parts is always a concern when you lock the bicycle on the street. Along with the use of bicycles, bicycle and bicycle part theft has also increased. Many innovations and design efforts are made everyday to safely lock the bicycle and keep the parts intact. One of the bicycle parts we thought is difficult to save is the saddle/seat. There are a couple of locks with allow the user to detach the saddle rod and carry along with the user. These parts are quite heavy, but this gesture gave us an inspiration to our concept.

The skeddle will be made with XL Extralight material to provide extra comfort and cushioning to the user. It is a waterproof and scratch resistant material which can be made with a single mould along with the texture. Xtralight is such a light material that the user will be comfortable carrying the saddle around with them.

Skeddle is a bicycle saddle which you can detach easily from the bicycle and be carried with you. The skeddle is composed of two parts:

The skeleton: This is a metal structure made with a titanium rod. It is fixed to the bicycle at all times. This structure is made according to the pressure points of a cyclist. It is made according the universal measurements hence can be attached to any bicycle. It is uncomfortable to use it without the skeddle and there is no point on stealing this part of the saddle.

The skeddle: This is a flexible and superlight cover for the skeleton which will provide the cushioning for the seat. It fits perfectly on the frame and can be removed easily to be carried with the user.
