• Design layout of the residential units, referencing NCC, Australian Standards and Better Apartment Design Guidelines
• Prepare town planning package for planning permit application
• Assess the overshadowing and overlooking issue of the development
• Assist in the coordination with consultants such as urban planner, heritage consultant, landscape architect, ESD consultant and traffic engineer
• Facade design, material selection and 3D renders for client review

Project Brief:
Two standalone double storey dwelling on a single lot with subdivision. The development features a contemporary look with high quality finishes, fixtures and fittings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend client meetings with the project architect during design and documentation for progress update.
• Analyse and apply the planning requirements for the proposed site prior and during the schematic design stage
• Prepare planning drawings and report for the planning permit application. This includes communicate and responding to appointed officer’s correspondence
• Coordination with specialist such as the ESD consultant, landscape architect and arborist to acquire documents required for the planning permit application
• Prepare construction documentation for structural coordination
• Complete material, fixture and fittings schedules for preliminary pricing. Liaise with supplier for material specification and pricing.
• Prepare and serve Protection Work Notice package to affected neighbours
• Coordinate with registered building surveyor to obtain building permit to start work

The project aims to create a contemporary, functional, and aesthetically pleasing residential community that harmonizes with its natural surroundings.

• Design the layout, overall form and interiors of the proposed development
• Produced 3D renders of different design iterations for client review
MCLELLAN HOUSE - LOWER PLENTY

Project Brief:
The client has engaged us to design a luxurious singlestorey residential home that embodies a contemporary barn style with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a detached studio and garage building adjacent to the main house. To complement the natural landscape of the site, we proposed to use materials such brick veneers and timber to create a warm and textured facade.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the director to design the layout of the main house and outstanding studio/ garage. This includes experimenting with different materials with 3D models and renders.
• Precedent studies for facade design and producing renders for client’s review
• Prepare planning documentation for planner’s assessment for planning permit application
The layout of the house is separated into the private wing, master wing and service wing, with the common area as the hearth of the house. The open-plan space will serve as the primary gathering area, incorporating living, kitchen and dining with access to the outdoor lounge area and the pool.
The interior of the house features high ceiling with, large windows or sliding doors leading to outdoor spaces, and a central fireplace.
