Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Garden Centre Magazine for Bampton Garden Plants,

Inside this edition you can find a plentiful amount of information on what you can find instore, including a section on monthly garden tips. With knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand in store to help with advice or inspiration, complemented by the huge variety of stock available, you will be sure to find what you need for your upcoming garden and/or home projects. Over the past few years we have continued to invest and grow our business enabling us to offer a larger variety of plants and bedding, gardening products, pots, gifts and Outdoor living. Although we have grown, we have never forgotten our roots and remain focused on the highest quality plants, along with exceptional service and advice. We are proud of our heritage as a local business and grower, and look forward to developing further in the coming years.

Our botanical inspired cafe continues to be a huge draw, with everything freshly made in-house daily. We have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, with delicious seasonal weekly specials. OUTDOOR LIVING

We believe your outdoor space should be the ultimate retreat, providing a place for rest and relaxation. We have some wonderful and unique garden décor and lighting to give your garden the feel and look you dream of. HARDY PLANTS

We have many sizeable and striking larger specimens and an array of stunning shrubs and herbaceous perennials. These are a great investment for gardens and courtyards and are essentially the backbone and structure of your space and can provide screening, shade, spring blossom or autumn colour. Choose from a vast selection of evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs here at Bampton Garden Plants. We also offer a fantastic choice of herbaceous perennials, these gorgeous flowering plants come in a huge array of heights, colours and scents and will bloom from early spring right through to late autumn. They also support native wildlife such as bees and other pollinators.

We also grow a large proportion of our trees, hedging and shrubs and more. As the stock is grown on site by experienced horticulturalists, our plants have always been of fine quality and sold at competitive prices. This has enabled us to grow as a company over the last few years into one of the county’s top plant suppliers serving gardeners, designers and landscapers throughout the seasons. SEASONAL PLANTS

It’s the beginning of Spring, so no better time to introduce glorious colour and blooms into the garden. Get your garden ready for the season ahead, planting summer flowering bulbs, bright and beautiful bedding and herbaceous perennial favorites.

Each Season we produce a huge range of Homegrown bedding, covering all the favourites such as; Geraniums, Begonias, Petunias, Cosmos and Antirrhinums. So, whatever your preference you’ll be able to select the perfect flowering combination to make any pot or container colourfully vibrant this Spring/Summer.

INDOOR PLANTS

There has been a huge resurgence in houseplants over the past few years and the trend doesn’t look like slowing down. These wonder plants not only reduce pollutants and increase air quality, but it is proven that green makes us feel content and safe, making us feel happier.

Low maintenance houseplants such as succulents and cacti are seeing a huge increase in popularity, and the demand for terrariums is also on the up. However, big or small, we have a wonderful range of indoor plants from the prettiest of orchids to the greenest of foliage. Some of our specimen palms are a real joy and bring something spectacular to any indoor space.

SEEDS & BULBS

Whether it be flowering plants or veg, we have a huge selection of seeds and bulbs, covering the ever popular to the more unusual varieties. We sell only the best quality seeds and bulbs from the most reputable of suppliers, ensuring your efforts are not in vain.

Our newly extended Sundries and Garden Essentials shop offers everything any gardener will ever need. Whether it be; tools for the job, fertiliser to feed, compost to enrich, weeds and pests to kill, seeds to sow, pots, plant supports, or decorative baskets to hang, we have it covered.

GARDENING ESSENTIALS

Having increased our garden essentials shop over the past year, we can now offer the complete solution to all your gardening needs. We have everything you need to grow and propagate, from grow houses and seed trays, to rooting powder and watering cans. With specialist feeds and compost including a huge range of PEAT FREE options to support all kinds of plants and growing conditions there is no excuse why your garden won’t be blooming magnificent this season!

We aim to inspire you with our creative displays and wide variety of products, to enable you to find the perfect gift for every friend or family member.

In our Gift Barn you will also find our extended Food Hall, here you will discover irresistible ranges of treats. From sweet to savoury, many of which locally sourced from independent suppliers. Our collection of Gin is certainly one to stop and have a look at, with a large choice of delicious gins distilled in the Cotswolds. So with all this in one hall we’re certain you’ll find what you’re looking for, and more!

OUR CAFÉ

Our botanical café is open daily serving breakfasts, lunch and baked treats. No need to book, one of our friendly hosts will greet and seat you upon your arrival.

Set amongst some beautiful botanical plants, Bampton Garden Plants Cafe is a must visit. We pride ourselves on cooking and baking everything from scratch using fresh ingredients. All our meals are freshly made here in-house, with delicious and seasonal weekly specials.

Our in-house bakery supplies our café with tea cakes, cakes and our freshly baked artisan bread is available to buy every Thursday and Friday from our Takeaway Bakery..

Our bakery provides home-made cakes and slices every day including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options. We also cater for children and have fun lunch bags with freshly made sandwiches for little people.

All of our meat is locally sourced by our award winning, village butcher. Our vegetables and dairy products are delivered fresh daily. We have a full breakfast menu available with favourites such as crushed avocado, tomato, coriander and lime on our house sourdough with poached eggs or a hearty full English breakfast.

Our baristas use ‘Ue Coffee’ which is roasted locally to make some fantastic coffees, or if you prefer we serve a wide range of loose leaf ‘Jeeves of Jericho’ teas, freshly made smoothies, milkshakes or a range of cold drinks.

We have free WiFi – making Bampton Garden Plants a great place to work from.

AFTERNOON TEA

Our botanical inspired cafe is the perfect place to treat yourself to one of our decadent Afternoon Teas for Two. All our sandwiches, pastries and cakes are freshly baked and prepared in-house, so booking is essential. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, or just fancy a bit of fizz, we also offer a Sparkling Afternoon tea for Two.

IN HOUSE BAKERY

Most standard policies do not provide you for cover for things such as Accidental Damage, Personal Belongings Away From the Home, Legal Expenses, Home Emergency, Locks Cover and Drain Cover. However you may not require these items, by speaking to a professional they can tailor a policy to your own needs.

Reviewing your policies with an insurance broker will allow them to ask the correct questions to fully establish your exact requirements and then choose a suitable policy for you meaning that in the event of a claim you will not have a nasty surprise of the cover not being in place and subsequently a claim not being paid.
