Best night out Noosa for its beach vibes; surf by day, party by night. Great place for dinner Cairns – you can’t beat Cairns for food. There are cheap places for backpackers to eat and there’s a huge emphasis on fresh produce. A great activity Diving the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns – it’s one of the world’s best dive spots. How would you describe Queensland in three words? Sunny, golden, brilliant. Best way to spend $20 Pick up a few beers and drive to the beach for sunset. The great thing is, it doesn’t matter which beach – any one will do. Best place for nature lovers Fraser Island. Without a doubt Lake McKenzie is the most beautiful lake I’ve ever seen in my life. Don’t miss The Whitsundays.
