Day 2 : Colombo- Pinnawala

Day 2: Colombo-Pinnawala-Dambulla You will be visiting Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a rendezvous for destitute elephants – the one and only orphanage of this type in the world.

Dambulla Cave Temple: Known as Golden Temple of Dambulla, a World Heritage Site, consisting of more than 80 caves containing statues and paintings of Buddha, showing the events of his life. You can see a total of 153 Buddha statues. Importantly there are 5 caves – Cave of the Divine King; Cave of the Great Kings; and the Great New Monastery.
