Joel G. Kinney and Jacklyn Chesny We pay tribute to Joel Kinney and Jacklyn Chesny, a couple with sincere dedication to the Boston Jewish community. Joel is well known to many who daven at Congregation Bais Pinchas as a friendly, welcoming presence. His expertise as a lawyer assisting "start-ups" was instrumental in the early days of Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael. Joel took care of everything from the initial filing of YOY as a 501c3 organization to helping craft our bylaws to advocating with neighbors as we purchased our own first "home", and he continues to provide wise counsel with every new phase. It is no exaggeration to say that his expertise and support, given freely and wholeheartedly, helped build YOY to the school it is today. In a very quiet way, Joel and Jackie set the example of jumping in and helping others with time and talents to help make a dream a reality.
