Hello! My name is Yeong Jing Wen. I'm currently a final year student pursuing Interior Architecture & Design in Temasek Polytechnic. I am an outgoing person who is willing to experience new things and take up new challenges.
I envision interior design as creating spaces that speak their story and purpose. Every element within a space should evoke its own meaning, whether through materials, form, or function. I am passionate about learning and exploring how design can influence behavior, enhance experiences, and promote sustainability. By continuously learning and experimenting, I aim to create spaces that are impactful, immersive, and deeply connected to the people and communities they serve.
This project focuses on exploring varies forms that can be translated into an architecture model. The first level features a U-shape layout, while the second level adopts the shape of a V-shape that is place in an irregular manner. I envision the space to have a view of the outside from all sorts of angles.

This project is located in a shophouse which its a living space for a family of 4. I explored on creating curves and dynamic shapes particularly with flooring design. Additionally, I introduced a striking green feature wall that gracefully extends from the base to the apex of the house. This is to enhance and introduce the overall natural environment and spatial experience within the home

My design intention in this project is to explore and dive into the relationship between the symbolism of water/ sea and the attributes of a leader such as fluidity and adaptability, as the site is a leadership learning center. By integrating water-inspired elements into the space strongly communicates the purpose of the space and empowers their journey in leadership.

This project envisions a sustainability-focused resort in Singapore that seamlessly blends relaxation with sustainable practices on food waste The resort transforms food waste into design elements, workshops, and culinary experiences. Through interactive upcycling workshop activities and zero-waste dining, guests engage with sustainability firsthand, gaining hands-on knowledge on minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency. The resort aims to create a meaningful connection between luxury and self-responsibility, inspiring guests to adopt sustainable practices beyond their stay
In this project,I learned and explored creating 3D furniture, applying materials and lighting and rendering in 3Dsmax for a living room in an apartment.

In this module, I learned and explored constructing buildings using Revit software while applying materials and lighting, and learning the skills to render to create this realistic ambiance of a library.
This image of a guestroom was modeled and rendered during my time in internship. The modeling was done from scratch and was modeled in feet and inches. I incorporated natural lighting into the space using the lighting features and functions in enscape to achieve a realistic ambiance.
These 2d rendering was also completed during my time in internship where I learned and applied software functions into render images at a more professional and advanced level.
