WARREN MILLER (1924-2018)

Late Honorary Director of Skiing and American Ski & Snowboarding Filmmaker

Our beloved friend Warren Miller was a groundbreaking American ski and snowboarding filmmaker. He was the founder of Warren Miller Films and produced, directed and narrated films until 1988. His published works include more than 750 sports films, several books and hundreds of articles.

CHARLIE CALLANDER

Longtime VP and Director of Sales and Marketing, YC Ombudsman

Charlie Callander, a 1975 Stanford graduate in Economics joined YC in 2000, with a wealth of success in multiple private development properties previously, planning and implementing just under 500 properties at Vintage Club, a 712 acre master planned private golf course community. At YC, he supervised the marketing and selling of $2.5B in real estate. In his new role as ambassador, he assists operations in special projects and continues to participate in YC Boards and Committees.

HANK KASHIWA

American Alpine Ski Racer & Olympian

Hank Kashiwa is an American Olympic Alpine Ski Racer. He competed in the 1972 Winter Olympics. Kashiwa learned to ski on McCauley Mountain in his hometown in Old Forge, New York. He raced for the University of Colorado and was a member of the U.S. Army ski team for two years. He can be found on the mountain coaching ski racing to our Members.

TOM WEISKOPF (1924-2018)

16 PGA Tour Titles & Golf Course Architect

Thomas Weiskopf was an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. His most successful decade was the 1970s, and he won 16 PGA Tour titles between 1968 and 1982. After his impressive tournament career, Weiskopf became a notable golf course architect. In fact, he designed our YC course and a popular fundraiser in his name, The Weiskopf Cup, benefits Yellowstone Club Community Foundation every summer.

Scot Schmidt

Professional Extreme Skier

As a professional Extreme Skier, Scot's pioneering style and remarkable ability inspired generations of adrenaline-sport athletes and helped shape the ski industry. In 1983, Warren Miller Entertainment invited him to showcase his style, which would be the first of over 40 films. Scot is in his 39th year as an athlete and designer with The North Face. In 2014, Scot was inducted into the US Ski Hall of Fame. Scot guides YC skiers into advanced terrain for a one of a kind experience.

Bode Miller

American Alpine Ski Racer, Olympic & World Champion

American Alpine skier and six-time Olympic medalist, Bode Miller is the most decorated male US skier of all time. His major career accomplishments include the Men’s World Cup Overall Title in 2005 & 2008; 33 world cup race victories; and 11 Olympic and World Championship medals. He is one of five men in the world to win in all five ski racing disciplines (downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom, combined) and one of two men to accomplish the feat in a single ski season. In 2017, Bode Miller officially retired from competitive skiing and has recently moved his family to Big Sky.
