About me.

About. I enjoy observing details by taking photos and sketching in my leisure time, and this also helps me to conceptualize more distinctive ideas about my life and work. While in college, I majored in Textile design. During this time, there were many things that stretched me and called me to new growth. I liked to experiment with different materials to create flat or three-dimensional woven fabrics. Not only did I learned different characteristics with different fabrics from the producing process, but also be trained to use them to combine into a new design skill. Communication is not limited to speech; through graphics and media, one can sometimes express more with feelings and different means of expression. I hope that conveying my feelings in my work also gives it the power to inform, educate, or persuade viewers using visual messages.

My concept comes from “Direction”,I changed 4 signs ( spade, heart, club, dimond) into North,East,South,West and put them into Chinese ( 北 東 西 南). About the new codes and variables, I change two codes. Firstly, I change numbers and quantities, instead of using signs to represent quantities, I use number directly and add the volume into numbers . Second, I collect some elements to show the direction to connect to my concept. I found out that the cube constructs by 8 points,12 lines, and 6 planes and also has 6 orientations, after analysis, I pick these properties to catch my ideas. For the colour , I choose red and blue. Two colours not only make a contrast but also represent the sun and star. The sun rises from the East and falls to the South. The Blue to symbol Stars. The north star and the south star.

Africa - is the place of human origins. Skeletons of pre-humans as well as skeletons of Homo sapiens were found in east Africa. We f o u n d t h i s i n f o r m a t i o n extremely important as it scientically proves the existence of common roots of all nationalities. That is why we decided to investigate it deeper.

09 / Institution of Humanity Racism is the first and main problem we want to solve. It is time that people become aware of the fact that what they believe is wrong and humans can not be devided by skin color, blood group or nationalities. That is why we found it extremely important to form an institution - Institution of Humanity that will answer all the questions one might have about it’s origins and at the same time work for uniting people regardless their birthplaces. Institution will provide all the necessary information by exploring DNA of every individual contacting it. Organization will also hold various campaigns in order to unite people of different nationalities.

Identity. As for the identity for the Institution of Humanity we started exploring one of the most characteristic things of a human body - fingerprints. It is a well known fact that every fingerprint is different and at the same time unique. On one hand, it defines and unifies us all as humans, on the other hand emphasises how extraordinary every individual is.

For the logo we created simplied version of a fingerprint using lines of a constant thickness and gave the logo more of a circle shape as a symbol of unity. Our logo will only be used in black & white, without any color indicating human skin. We named the Institution of Humanity Bantu, referring to one of the largest traditional branch of the Niger–Congo languages as we wanted to link it to our common roots - Africa. Keeping in mind the fact that race does not exist and skin color.

10 / The adventure trip of eyes According to the facts , more and more children begin to indulge in electronic devices, some will be spent watching TV, some will be used to play games. Most of the time, their attention and time will play on electronic equipment. We design a game based on role playing with two eyes testing and props to make children explore, investigate, experiment and use children’s imagination to encourage them to learn by playing. We make parents and teachers to give more knowledges and tips about how to protect eyes.
