Digital transformer

Sep 2023 - Jan 2024 Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Amsterdam (Digital Society School: DSS).

Implemented a Metaverse transition strategy to address the shortage of meeting spaces; successfully launched the “SportyVerse" project, as the digital twin for 3 meeting spaces at the DSS, and reduced commuting costs. Up to 40 active participants could join each virtual space at a time.

Roles:

● To have healthy meetings in Metaverse; Pioneered implementing immersive environments, mood settings, and AI-aided assistance, to elevate productivity and well-being in Metaverse meeting spaces at SportyVerse.

● Conducted qualitative research to optimize the usage of our metaverse space during five sprints in a six-month time-span. Developed three different scenarios based on the research results. Based on the best scenario, I modeled and developed all four 3D spaces -using Blender 3D- and optimized them -using Unity- to be uploaded in the CoVince Metaverse platform.

● Specialized in developing and optimizing 3D models tailored for the CoVince Metaverse platform, contributing to a seamless virtual experience.

● Guided a dynamic six-member agile team as the Scrum Master and Tools and Instruments Master, spearheading efficient project management and maximizing the use of pertinent tools.

Technical Head and Executive Advisor

Nov 2017 - Sep 2023 Cultural Heritage Agency, Tehran.

In charge of the experts’ team defining the regulations and protective areas for built cultural heritage.

Roles:

● Quality Assurance Oversight: Managed the quality assurance of BIM/GIS generated maps, ensuring strict adherence to technical standards and safeguarding regulations.

● Digital Tools and Communication: Leveraged digital tools for streamlined communication and conducted regular technical workshops, contributing to defining over 700 buffer zones within three years equivalent to one-sixth of the total in a notable achievement spanning half a century.

● Team Leadership in BIM Implementation: Led a 34-member technical experts' team, including 31 remote members, in defining regulations and implementing strategies to safeguard cultural heritage core zones while regulating construction in buffer zones.

● Establishment of Online Database: Pioneered the establishment of an online database for accessing digital maps and BIM information related to built heritage protection, fostering collaboration with municipalities and area management organizations to ensure regulatory compliance and sustainable development.
