PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
My name is Edin Le and I am one of Yerba Bue ors! Welcome to my first newsletter, which has truly for a long time. This has probably been in the planning stages for almost a year but never came into fruition until now. You'll be able to see our officer introductions, some of our events and fundraisers in the past month, updates from the division, the progress in our service hours/PTP fund goals, and some upcoming events for the month. I had a lot of fun at the dog toy making event. It was a very fun and interesting event being able to work with other key clubbers and learn about their experiences with the club. My favorite part of the event was being able to make toys for the dogs and have fun with my fellow key clubbers. I think the event would've been even more fun if more people had come and after the club has been exposed to more people instead of during summer. Overall, it was a very fun experience and I had a great time. - Devin Acebedo, 11
Rock Painting with Our City Forest was SO SWAG!!! This event took place at the nursery, so everything was really pretty. We were greeted with examples of past painted rocks, and one of them was Shrek so that was probably an inspiration for many. We got to sit with our friends and paint as well as paintbrushes were provided. Then, we wandered around the nursery to look for smooth rocks to paint on. I, including many, painted a Minion on my rock. Overall, this event was super relaxing and fun, and it was a great bonding experience!! - Jaclyn Huynh, 11

I thought the YBKC School Supply Drive was a great event for a noble cause as many students gathered in solidarity for their less fortunate peers and donated much needed school supplies. We also took time to write heartfelt notes to go along with each notebook, pen, and pencil that was donated to encourage students in their studies. - Jay Nguyen, 12

The Pride Parade was an extremely fun and productive event! It was so inclusive and an amazing environment to be in. I think everyone should be able to experience this event at least once in their life. I felt like I always had something to do and it was overall just very fun! - Nhi Diep, 11

This past DCM, we have received Fundraiser of the Month from our Chasing the Sunset event that had overseer $700 in profit for club & abortion funds! We like to thank our officer board and for ASB supporting us to get this big fundraiser into play!
