Introduction to NDA Exam:

The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is a highly competitive exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for students who wish to join the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. The exam is held twice a year, and candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria to apply

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam:

To apply for the NDA exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian citizen, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit: The candidate must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence.

3. Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

NDA Exam Pattern:

The NDA exam is conducted in two stages: Written Examination and SSB Interview.

1. Written Examination: The written examination consists of two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The Mathematics paper is of 300 marks, and the GAT paper is of 600 marks.

2. SSB Interview: The candidates who qualify the written examination are called for the SSB Interview, which is conducted in two stages: Stage I and Stage II. The SSB Interview is of 900 marks.

NDA Exam Syllabus:

The syllabus for the NDA exam includes the following subjects:

1. Mathematics: Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics, and Probability.

2. General Ability Test (GAT): English, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, Current Events.

1. Start Early: It's important to start preparing for the NDA exam as early as possible so that you have enough time to cover the entire syllabus and revise it multiple times.
