Changes in aesthetic perception

HOW CAN AESTHETICS IN DESIGN ADAPT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES?

Aesthetics is a fundamental way to understand the world. The power to transform aesthetics into “changing people’s response to the environment” is a deeper understanding of landscape aesthetics for designers. Carrington is a low-lying suburb with a rich industrial history that has caused heavy metal pollution in the city’s air and soil. The proposed design addresses the existing problems of the site and the future risks posed by rising sea levels, providing a solution to the ecological issues of the site by removing toxic substances from the soil before increasing sea levels and penetrating the land to reduce secondary pollution. After the seawater flooding into the city, it provides city residents with a new way of coping with the environmental change. The project “Changes in aesthetic perception” hopes to help adapt to a changing environment through landscape change while involving residents and reconnecting them with the site’s history.
