• THE IDEA WAS TO DEVELOP THE CAMPUS BY SEGGREGATING PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SPACES AND CONNECTING THEM THROUGH A STEM / STREET WHICH WILL BE STEPPED HAVING A VILLAGE KIND OF A FEEL
• BUILDINGS ARE PLACED AS PER THE CONTOURS OF THE SITE AND SUCH THAT EACH BUILDING GETS THE VIEW OF THE VALLEY. THERE IS ALEVEL DIFFERENCE OF 3M IN BETWEEN THE TWO BUILDINGS SUCH THAT FIRST FLOOR OF ALL THE BUILDING OVERLOOK VALLEY VIEW

CONCEPT : GOING BACK TO THE HISTORY, THE NAME OF HALDWANI CITY WAS DERIVED BY THE NAME OF THE TREE HALDU WHICH WAS FOUND IN ABUNDANCE..

TO MAKE AN ENTRANCE GATE WHICH WILL BE ICONIC AND GIVE IDENTITY TO THE ENTIRE LOGISTIC PARK COMPLEX AND WILL FORM A PROTOTYPE FOR ALL THE PROJECTS OF THE CLIENT.

CONCEPT: INSPIRATION – EYE..... BLINK… STUDIED THE MOVEMENT OF THE EYE, HOW WE BLINK..
THE PURPOSE OF THE GATE IS SECURITY AND KEEP A WATCH ON INFLOW AND OUTFLOW OF PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICULAR TRAFFIC INSIDE THE PREMISES.
GATE WILL BE THE FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE PROJECT..
THE MOVEMENT OF THE EYE LID GOVERNED THE DESIGN OF THE GATE... A GOLDEN METALLIC PLATE WITH SEMI-CIRCULAR SECTION FORMS
THE SOLID MASS WHICH WILL ACT AS A BARRIER AND WILL BE IN THE FORM OF EYELIID WHICH OPENS AND CLOSE.
ARSHIYA ‘S LOGO HAVING SUN ACT AS A EYEBALL AND WILL BE INSCRIBED IN THE METAL SHEET.
THIS SOLID MASS WILL BE PIVOTED AT THE TWO END TO CONTROL THE MOVEMENT. THE PIVOT MECHANISM WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE PYRAMIDAL STRUCTURE WHICH ALSO ACTS AS A PEDESTAL AND SECURITY CABIN.
THE EYEBROW WILL BE IN THE FORM OF STATIONARY 3D TRUSS WHICH WILL BE SUPPORTED ON THE PYRAMIDAL BASE WHICH WILL HOUSE SECURITY CABIN

The branch office buildings will include Reception Areas, Waiting Areas, Customer Services, Meeting Rooms, Offices, Gymnasium, and Recreation Hall, Cafeterias, Kitchens, Prayer Halls and other support facilities

BRIEF CONCEPT:The design adopts monumentality emphasized by the vertical masses at the corners and framing effect envisaged by the powerful roof canopy unifying the whole volume. Gives liveliness to the central frame through a play of light and shade casted by the top canopy, giving life and dynamism to the framed glazed façade. The volume of the internal atrium echoes the monumentality of the external elevations and acts as a central gathering space and as light well with all the floors overlooking it

PROJECT INTENT:
Maximize land potential, To house school functions plus accommodate shared facilities for Church, plus accommodation facility, Proposed Project Area, approx. 5,510 SQ.M BUA. The building is designed to provide state of the art laboratory, classroom, administration and academic facilities to supplement those already existing school building with a view to cater to a total school population of approx. 1400 students.
ZONING:
Principally, all the administration related activities along with staff room, Principal room, meeting rooms and medical room were placed at Ground floor level. The main auditorium and students sports room along with services zone was considered at the basement/Lower ground level. And the first and second floors were designated to classrooms and Laboratories activities and third floor for Staff accommodation and services.
In principle, the building on the ground floor reads as 2 separate masses, however it is developed as one mass spread around the atrium which is cladded with skylight from the top and green zone on the ground level.
KEY BUILDING ELEMENTS:
Following elements were used in the building treatment keeping in mind the existing building, church and surroundings plus the students: The covered entrance plaza, screens wrapped with the creepers, the green atrium , multi colored louver façade elements, atrium parapet with screens, natural light in all the classrooms plus the corridors, stone clad entrance

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Pell Frischmann was retained as Lead Multi-Disciplinary Design Consultants for the clients process related specialized building design and supervision. The project involves confidential processes related to Aircrafts, Army, and Defense etc
Pell Frischmann was responsible for complete Design including Architecture, Civil, ME, Landscape, Infrastructure services, Tender and Supervision Services for the project along with all necessary regulatory construction approvals.
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
The proposed project area for the main process building was approx 70,000sq ft Mainly the building being specialized warehouse, the proposed construction was in Steel. The building consisted of processes involving chemical cleaning of various parts used in Aircraft Industry. There were separate areas for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of the elements. The plant also housed state of the art paint booths and a waste water treatment plant The building was designed with braced steel frame with insulated metal cladding.

GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT, WHICH ALREADY BOASTS A SCIENCE AND NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUMS IN THE STATE INTENDS TO DEVELOP A STATE-OF-ART EXHIBITION CENTRE AT GANDHINAGAR.

LOCATION: THE SITE IS LOCATED IN CENTRAL VISTA AREA OF GANDHINAGAR WHICH LIES ON THE TROPIC OF CANCER AT 85 DEG EAST.
CLIMATIC ANALYSIS
Each petal forms a module for exhibition area. Larger exhibition areas are created by combining three petals. Entry to exhibition centre is on south west side. SW – NE axis forms the main corridor for circulation.
Petal on the NE direction is enlarged to house trade fair office . Secondary petals rest on green embankments like a flower on leaf bed.

Each structural unit is designed as a modular petal. The modular structure and repetitions help economy. The slopping facets of the roof allow for easy drainage.

PROJECT: DESIGNING COMPLETE CAMPUS FOR INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SPACE TECHNOLOGY WHICH INCLUDED ACADEMIC BLOCKS, LIBRARY, CONVENTION AREA, ADMINISTRATION BLOCK, STUDENTS ACTIVITY CENTRE AND HOSTELS. THE SITE WAS CONTOURED SITE AND TO BE DEVELOPED IN PHASES.
RESPONSIBILITY: COMPLETE DESIGN DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS ACTIVITY CENTRE BLOCK WHICH INCLUDED CANTEEN, SPORTS FACILITIES, GYM, MULTIPURPOSE HALL, BADMINTON COURT. THE BUILDING WAS DESIGNED AROUND THE AMPHITHEATRE AS THE CONTOUR VARIATION AT THIS LOCATION IS AROUND 14M THUS ACTIVITIES ARE SEGGREGATED AT VARIOUS LEVELS.
