Note from the Editors Hello Autumn! Storm Callum certainly made its present felt at the beginning of October.
We will continue to share some of the contents over future issues.
The memory of the long hot Summer is fading but still obvious by the confused flowers in the garden. Astrantias and Hellebores are out at the same time, Cosmos is growing wildly and the Dahlias are non-stop (in my garden at least – Sharron).
Next issue Don’t forget the next issue of The Eagle is the double December/January issue. Time to reflect on 2018. Summer. Abba.
But also, the farmers are incredibly busy at the moment with harvesting and preparations for the Winter to come. With this in mind, take care when driving around the village as there is every likelihood of meeting a tractor towing very large farm machinery or a trailer. There will also be an increased amount of mud on the roads and on the corners – together with the debris from the winds.

To avoid disappointment, please don’t forget the deadline for submission of any articles for The Eagle is the 20th of each month. Anything submitted after this date can’t be included in The Eagle.
We are sure everyone would like to join us in sending their “Congratulations” to Anthony & Rachel Passmore on their recent wedding in St Lucia.
