HAVANA, CUBA: 5 days, 4 nights November 10-15, 2011
General Notes Master both the technical and creative principles that are fundamental into making great travel images. Participants are encouraged to photograph people, as well as the environment and landscape of the city. Although the workshop is general enough to cover all facets of photography, the focus will remain on street photography. With Yannis’ expert guidance through course of the week, participants will have the opportunity to compose hundreds of images, resulting in a travel portfolio in the end. Some of the topics that we will cover include among others: • People in their environment • Understanding exposure under difficult lighting conditions • Creative composition • Image critiques Notable place that we’ll visit: • Partagas cigar factory • National Art Museum • Fototeca De Cuba ... Havana Museum of Photography • El Floridita - Hemingway Bar • Plaza de Armas Square • The food market • Jazz and dancing Clubs • Malecon (sea front) • Many other interesting spots
