In December 1995, the Maharashtra government established the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) to aid in the rebuilding of slums throughout Mumbai. What is an SRA flat, exactly? Slum inhabitants are provided with tenements, often known as SRA apartments, by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority.
