Comm study on distance learning published in int’l journal

An undergraduate thesis of a communication graduate on distance learning was published in the May issue of E-DAWA, an international multidisciplinary research journal of the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC).

Authored by Maria Anna Jessica Rosqueta and guided by her thesis adviser Dr. Maria Deleilah F. Adriatico, their study was titled “Perceptions and Strategies on Distance Learning Communication Modalities.” It explored students’ perspectives on their used learning communication modalities during the pandemic, as well as their struggles and how they catch up with their classes.

In an interview, Rosqueta explained that her motivation in conducting the study was her firsthand experience of witnessing students struggle to attend classes and complete tasks while prioritizing their mental health and well-being during the pandemic.
