The Tasék Tanah Gayo Homestay, located at a popular destination in Aceh, is situated near Lake Lut Tawar of the Gayo Highland. Owned by a local family of four, it is a house that can accommodate approximately 14 guests at a time.

The design combines a traditional local house with a more modern style, built 300 m2 on a 650 m2 area. The lower floor consists of a living room, a kitchen, and an open porch on each side; allowing the host family and the guests to interact with each other. The upper floor consists of 3 bedrooms for the family members and 6 rented bedrooms suited for the guests coming as a solo traveler, a group of two, or a group of four.

SUNBEAM CAFE & RESIDENTIAL HOUSE 17

CONCEPT BREAKDOWN

Sunbeam Cafe, located in Bintaro, is situated in a business district that is also near several schools. Operated as a cafe, it also serves as a residential house for the owner.

The front and back buildings are separated and two stories high, connected by a mid yard and a side path. These two connectors, along with an operable skylight and big louver windows on the cafe, and another yard by the house’s back, give the buildings better air movement and natural lighting.

CONCEPT BREAKDOWN Puri Garden Tropica is a gated community located in Pondok Aren, which comprises two types of house in it. The first type is a single-floor house of 76m2, while the second type is a two-floors house of 150m2, both built on a lot of 120m2.

Puri Garden Tropica also boasts a minimalistic style on its appearance and tries to bring in as much natural lighting and ventilation as possible by having a lot of openings on every possible side.
