The
negative information about viruses compare the virus to negative Internet to show this spread
I decided to use blue as the main color, because blue is color of depression that symbolizes that it is appropriate for people who spread negative emotions on the Internet.
1. Negative comments on the Internet can cause contagious viruses
2. The virus will be transmitted to more people through the Internet
more people agree with negative comments, will grow stronger and spread more widely.
5. People are mentally controlled by negative comments and turn into walking dead
6. After the controlled people leave the Internet, they bring negative viruses to the real world.
8. The powerful virus infects everyone and plunges them into a whirlpool of negative thinking.
9. The whole world becomes depressed under negative thoughts, and eventually dies along with the Internet.

Fragile
In my psychology class, I learned for the first time that there is a patient group called button phobia in the world. The most ordinary things in our daily lives can be monsters that destroy their lives
Button phobia
This is a typical case in 2002 from a nine-year-old boy whose parents agreed to an experiment to treat the mental illness. The first is to investigate the process of the little boy's illness. At first, the reason for his fear of buttons was that he was hit on the face by many dumped buttons, followed by his dislike of buttons, and then he thought the buttons were disgusting. For example, he thought it smelled bad and dirty, and then to the point of disgust, he didn't want to see it, and then he ran away. Finally, there is the psychological state of fear of buttons.

Here are two cases of button phobia, one is the founder of Apple, the other is a nine-year-old boy, the aim is to let more people know more people who suffer from this kind of phobia
As the main element, I want to use button as one of my material to create mix-media drawings.

The vase symbolizes the human heart.And the broken porcelain means human fragility, and different patterns mean different mental illnesses.

Visualize my feeling
I compared my various bad feelings to different kinds of food that melt easily. I made food into little people, observed their melting process, painted and designed patterns based on different melting looks.

Development
I wanted to record this state of mine, bid farewell to it, and get a better version of myself before I became an adult, so I made a birthday cake using pattern elements.

I designed several printing patterns based on the layers and light and shadow effects in the cake. I plan to make a birthday card for myself. As a commemoration of my adulthood, it helps me say goodbye to the past.
A fold & open structure like calendar, with a hiding message card in each page
The prints pattern card can be take out from the card with my figure, which represents my wish to escape from a bad state.
Final design
I can write messages to my future self on the back of the pattern card as a commemoration of my 18th birthday.

My family grows many flowers. My dad grew flowers, my mom learned flower ikebana, and my grandma had a flower field. I find that as age get older, the love for flowers grows.
I think Human’s love for flowers reflects people's love for youth.

Both hand and flower can represent aging , I decided to combined them together.
I used threads to represent time, which slowly cover people and bring wrinkles and aging to them.

I was born in a very religious family. Our family’s daily habits are integrated with Buddhism, including my education. My grandma would judge me based on Buddhism and force me to worship Buddha. I think this is wrong. Any religious belief should be based on understanding.
