LETTER FROM THE EDITOR The Future of XtremeRollers Newszine If you would have asked me about the future of rollerskating a decade ago, I might have answered, “This is it.” Conditioned to others interpretation of what rollerskating was, my thoughts of rollerskating were conformed to just a childhood hobby. Growing up, skating was a ritual, but I never thought of it as something that would progress, thrive or even pop up into mainstream movies, videos and music. I never grew up with images of rollerskaters in the Olympics or even in professional sporting arenas. Although there were some movies that highlighted rollerskating or roller derby, many times it was depicted as a hobby for youth, not a sport. Years later, the chains of conformity were broken and I began to think outside of the box, pondering all of the possibilities that could open up for rollerskating. I mean without innovators and believers, things like the hip-hop and rock music genres may have never been born. I created a publication exclusively for skaters in the Washington, DC area, which blossomed into a vision for the future of skaters – nationally and internationally. What was the dream? XtremeRollers, of course. Four years ago, I came up with an idea to produce a publication about rollerskating; so, I rounded up the best volunteers in the rollerskating community and we set out to build a news resource for local area skaters. For those of you who can recollect, the first quarterly issue was in black and white; and it featured a couple of small stories with updates about parties around town. That was in January 2004, and little did we know, the future of XR News would eventually expand into something greater than we could have ever imagined. Now, in such a short time XR News has expanded; our pages have increased from one to 24 full-color articles, advertisements and updates about the latest rollerskating information, worldwide. We are a “Newszine,” a self-coined term that we use to best describe our blending of newsletter and magazine style formats, fusing elements from both to produce one quality periodical. The rapid development of the rollerskating genre can be attributed to the spark of growth for XtremeRollers Newszine today – allowing us to report on many stories within, about and surrounding rollerskating and rollerskaters. With the younger generation continuing to reinvent the sport, and with people in the community, like ourselves, who cover the sport through images and stories, the future of keeping this pastime alive and in plain view of the masses seems more and more promising for the future. Enjoy!

THE FUTURE OF ROLLERSKATING IN THE HANDS OF THE YOUTH XR News

This month, is highlighting skate clubs with members who are under 30 years of age in the urban rollerskating community. We interviewed several skate clubs and asked them about their experiences as members of clubs created for young adults. and respect to them all.

Skate club: The Trendsettas Location: Cleveland, Akron, Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio Home skating rink: United Skates of America, Cleveland Year founded: 2006 Average age of club members: 22 Contact information: Trendsetta@peoplepc.com; myspace.com/trendsettas216 Club President: Bee “Lil Crowd Cutta” One 1. DID YOU INTEND TO CREATE A 30 AND UNDER SKATE CLUB? IF SO, WHY? Yes, [but] the Trendsettas didn’t start off as a skate club. The majority of the group members lived in the inner city of Cleveland, so, we might seem a little rough around the edges, but all with a heart of gold. It [began] as a group of young men, who lived by one another…almost like a support group to keep one another off [of] the street and out of trouble. It was for people our age and other youth to run to before they were sucked into the street – and most of them [are] artists and unique individuals. Thus, the Trendsettas [skate club] was created. 2. ARE THERE ANY ADVANTAGES OR DISADVANTAGES TO HAVING A SKATE CLUB THAT IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR 30 AND UNDER? Well, it has its advantages. None of my members [have] any fear on the wheels [and are] always down for trying something new. That’s what I love about them – I have a very acrobatic group. Altogether, we pull of a lot of stunts when we can. As far as disadvantages, to us, we have none and we are in no rush to get Older. We do what we can, when we can. 3. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON SKATE CLUBS WITH OLDER MEMBERS? Much respect to them all [because] without them, a lot of this wouldn’t be possible in the first place – they have paved the way. My group gives much respect to the O.G. and Ole School rollers who has been doing this for a while. We feed off them and get our knowledge of skate history from them. Much love

4. DO YOU FEEL THAT THE OLDER SKATE CLUBS OR THEIR MEMBERS HAVE INFLUENCED YOU? Well, the groups and people who have influenced us the most would be Auntie Pepper, Lo-Key and Peach of Skateology. They inspired me to strive harder with the Trendsettas. Their party was our first out of town Skate Jam. We just recently presented them with a plaque of appreciation at the 2008 Icy hot, to show them how much [we] respect [them]. Ken (“Crash Dummy”), O.G. Smitty, Chap, Wally and Big Ben [are] just a few who showed us a lot of love out of Cleveland. Also, Ice from Philly and Big brother Wes (“Da Crowd Cutta”) Jiggs – when we first hit the scene, these people showed us a lot of love. 5. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS THAT YOU WISH TO SHARE WITH THE URBAN ROLLERSKATING COMMUNITY? Yes, skating is supposed to be fun a getaway. It’s not a job or something mandatory in your life – this is your paradise. For those few hours, you should feel free, without a care in the world. [Skating puts] a pause on life and everyday struggles.

HEALTH BE RESPONSIBLE, DON’T BE SMART AND KNOW YOUR OPTIONS: PROTECT DRINK AND DRIVE YOURSELF The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that there are over 15 million cases of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) reported annually in the U.S. Teenagers and young adults are at the greatest risk for acquiring an STD. Approximately 19 million new infections occur each year, with almost half of those to people between the ages of 15 to 24. STDs are not the only risk factor when having unprotected sex – unplanned pregnancy is a risk as well. An estimated 30 perc e n t of teena g e girls in the U . S . become pregnant, and 20 percent give birth by the age of 20. According to Reuters, half of all pregnancies in the U.S. a r e repor ted by the mother as being unintended and more than onethird of these are to unmarried women in their twenties. Though teenage pregnancy has fallen 3 6 percent, u n planned pregnancies among young women ages 20 to 24 has risen by six percent.

Over 15 million cases of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) reported annually in the U.S.

The only way to completely prevent STDs and unplanned pregnancy is to abstain from sexual activities. Latex condoms are the ONLY form of birth control that reduces your risk of getting an STD. There are two types of condoms: male condom and female condom. Male condoms are made of either latex or polyurethane; and the female condom is made of a thin plastic cover of polyurethane. Both prevent body fluids from mixing during intercourse and are most effective when used in combination with another method of contraception, such as the pill or foam. Here is a list of birth control methods: • “The Pill”—is an oral contraceptive that contains two hor-

A lot of people are guilty of it, and many have probably done it numerous times without thinking about the consequences. Alcohol is a major factor in traffic accidents. The U.S. Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates that there is a drunk driving related casualty every 30 minutes. According to NHTSA, 17,602 people died in alcohol-related crashes in 2006 – the highest level since 1996. Also, in 2006, alcohol was involved in 41 percent of all crash deaths. Underage drinking is a serious problem. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Reports, car crashes are the leading cause of deaths in the U.S. for people under the age of 24. Of those deaths, more than 40 percent are alcohol-related. The total cost attributing to the consequences of underage drinking was almost $62 billion in 2001. Every state and D.C. classifies impairment as driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) at or above 0.08. They also have zero tolerance laws prohibiting drivers under the age of 21 from drinking and driving. To make sellers and servers of liquor more careful as to whom they serve alcohol, 43 states and D.C. hold liquor servers legally accountable for the damages and injuries a drunk driver causes. To try and curb the number of alcoholrelated incidents, in 2005, the federal highway funding bill, “The Safe, Accountable, Flexible and Efficient Transportation Equity Act,” was signed. The bill provides funding incentives for states that passed laws that targeted three types of drunk drivers: repeat offenders, drivers with a BAC over 0.15 (high-risk drunk drivers) and drunk drivers whose licenses were previously revoked for drunk driving. Many people do not understand or realize the effects that alcohol has on their mind while driving. The problem is that many think that they’re not intoxicated, or believe that even though they’re intoxicated, they’re okay to drive. XR News wants their readers to be proactive when dealing with drunk driving. How to Spot a Drunk Driver (possible signs): • Straddling center lane or lane marker. • Taking extremely wide turns. • Weaving from one side of the road to the other. XTREMEROLLER OF THE MONTH Each month, XR News selects an individual or group to be recognized as the “XtremeRoller of the Month.” Recipients are honored for one or more of the following: positivity, unique or diverse skating style, and/or passion for the art of skating as well as the community at-large. In 2007, XR News spotted DeAndré “Inspector” Cross on the floor for the first time during a DreamTeam Skaters Association (DTSA) party held in Elsmere, Del. His maneuvers gave off a staccato type of rhythm that reminded us of legendary tap dancer, Savion Glover. Anyone who has ever stood nearby when the XR News staff is fascinated by a skater’s movements can attest that we are a vocal bunch – and in this, case, there was no exception. We began to chant, “Savion, Savion!” Recently, Dre recalled hearing our chanting and how elated it made him feel. “I heard you all shouting and I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “I thought to myself, ‘Were they talking [about] me?’ It made me feel good.” A Maryland native, Cross began seriously skating in 2006 and has been a member of DTSA since May 2007. “The DreamTeam took me under their wing and taught me everything that I know,” he said. Although fairly new to the adult session scene, veteran skaters are quite familiar with Dre’s late father, who shared his love for the sport with Dre. “Ever since I can remember, it seems like I’ve been skating all of my life,” he said. “My father used to take me a lot. He used to skate with Lorenzo “Remm Dogg” Sanders (Midnight Rollers), Calvin “Puba” (DreamTeam) and Eric “Lil’ E” Holmes (Chocolate City Rollers).” Cross continued to skate but he also had other hobbies and interests that occupied his time. “One day I was like, man, I miss skating,” he said. “Then I just started going, going, going and here I am today.” Dre enjoys attending adult skate sessions at local area rinks like Shake & Bake Family Fun Center in Baltimore, Md., Skateland Orchard Roller Skating Rink in Towson, Md., and D’Light Skate N Palace in Temple Hills, Md. In addition to skating in town, Cross has traveled to out of town parties in Charlotte, N.C., Delaware and Atlanta. When he started coming out to the rinks, Holmes, whom Dre now affectionately refers to as “uncle Eric,” couldn’t have been more pleased. “When I first met Eric [Holmes], he told me that I skated like my Dad,” he shared. “I don’t really remember

much, but everyone said that his style was so smooth. Eric said that my father taught him everything he knew about skating. So, when I looked at Eric…I started watching him a lot more…I thought, ‘Okay, this is how my father skated.’ He told me so much and we just clicked from there.” Sometimes, his lineage brings him a bit of celebrity among skaters. “When people would introduce me they’d say, “This is C.C.’s son,” said Dre. “People would shake my hand and I would just thank them. I wish I could have really seen my father skate [as an adult]. I feel that [way] every time I lace up before I start skating – I think of him and I get kind of lost in the music.” Despite similarities in their skating styles, Dre believes that his technique is a little different from his father’s smoothness. “I typically look for a funky type of beat in the song,” he said. “And, I’m more of an outside, trio skater.” But, it’s not the typical fast-paced skating one is used to seeing on the outside. “I’m feeling the music and taking it step-by-step,” Cross said. “[It’s] almost like a walk [or] a stroll but I’m snapping…yeah, and just taking my time and throwing a little bounce with it.” Dre attributes his trio style to watching various skaters and creating a mixture of techniques from Kenny aka “Ice,” Kevin aka “DooWop,” and Paul aka “Flash” – all members of Dream Team; and his slow skating skills have been learned from “uncle” Eric. “I watch Eric and not exactly copy him but, I take a little something of his style and put it with my own,” said Cross. As he continues to evolve as a skater, Dre has become very passionate about the sport. “I just enjoy my adrenalin going,” he said. “And it’s good to see everybody get together and have so much fun. You don’t have to worry about fights breaking out or if everyone is going to be okay leaving the [rink] at night. [Skating] is something to do to stay out of trouble.” In addition to having passion for the sport, Cross continues to challenge himself and improve his skate skills. “I try to find moves that some people would not dare to try,” he said. “I think [that] a lot of my friends do that. I just typically free style stuff that comes out of my mind. I think that’s what makes it so fun because you never know what’s next.” Which is why the XR News staff was surprised to hear how excited Cross was to learn that he would be recognized in the news-zine. “It’s an honor to be XtremeRoller of the Month,” he exclaimed. “Out of all of these vicious skaters? Little ol’ me could be skater of the month?! I was really happy, I couldn’t believe it.” No need to pinch yourself, Dre – it’s true.

HEALTHMINIS HEALTHMINIS IMMUNIZATION AWARENESS TAKING CONTROL OF YOUR NUTRITION MONTH August marks National Immunization Awareness Month, and XR News wants their young readers to know the importance of getting their shots. Immunizations are one of the best ways to protect children from getting a disease that can make them very sick. They also reduce the risks of spreading diseases to other people. Immunizations are usually referred to as vaccines, or vaccinations, and are mostly given as shots by your doctor. Though vaccines may not completely stop a child from getting a disease, it will make the disease much less serious if you do get it. There are some vaccines that only need to be given once, while others require

For children especially, nutrition is very important to their overall health. Proper nutrition and a balanced diet can help kids grow up healthy and strong, and prevent many medical problems, including becoming overweight, weak bones and diabetes. Having good nutrition will also make it easier for children to stay focused in school and learn. Kids that are well-nourished have higher test scores, better school attendance and fewer classroom behavior problems.

Nutrients are substances that make-up food and are necessary for the body to work properly. Many children have heard their parents or teachers say, “milk does a body good,” “eating vegetables will help you grow up big and strong” or “it’s important to have a balanced meal.” They are saying this for a reason. Each of the five food groups carry nutrients that your body needs in order to run properly. XR News has provided a brief overview of the five food groups to help kids understand the importance of eating a balanced meal with a variety of foods. FIVE FOOD GROUPS: Grain—gives us carbohydrates – the main source of energy for our body – that helps us to function all through the day. Grain foods come in different grain plants such as wheat, oats, rye, barley and rice. Whole wheat bread gives your body fiber that helps you digest food. Foods in the grain group include: bread, cereal, pasta, rice, tortillas, crackers and pancakes. Vegetables—provide your body with vitamin A that helps you see in the dark and keeps your skin healthy. Vegetables also provide vitamin C that helps heals cuts and bruises and fights infections. Fiber is also found in vegetables. Eating vegetables is important because it will help prevent you from catching diseases. Some foods in the vegetable group include: spinach, corn, carrots, broccoli, string beans, white and sweet potatoes, lettuce and celery. Fruits—provide your body with vitamin C, vitamin A, fiber, and helps prevent you from catching diseases. Some foods in the

Milk/Dairy—provides calcium that helps build strong bones and teeth, and allows your muscles to contract and relax. They also provide other important nutrients such as protein, vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin B. Protein is important for the body because it helps to build, repair and maintain body organs, tissues, bones, skin, hair and blood. Foods in the milk/dairy group include: milk, yogurt, cheese, pudding and frozen yogurt. Meat—like milk and dairy products, meat helps build strong muscles and provides iron and protein. It is important to have iron because it carries oxygen to all parts of your body; helps prevent infections and anemia that can make you feel tired; and produces energy for your body. Foods in the meat group includes: beef, pork, chicken, turkey, fish, dried beans and peas, peanut butter, eggs and nuts. Even though your parents play a major role in making sure that you receive the right nutrients, you can take an active role in your health as well. Here are some tips for you to stay fit: 1. Drink plenty of water 2. Drink milk and 100% fruit juice 3. Limit TV and video games time to 2 ½ hours a day 4. Stay physically active 5. Limit fast foods and junk foods such as chips and candy 6. Limit sugary drinks such as sodas, kool-aid and other fruitflavored drinks 7. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables

mones, estrogen and progestin, that stop ovulation by restraining the movement of sperm. The pill alone will not protect you against STDs and HIV. • “The Patch”—thin, flexible, beige-colored patch that has three layers: the outer layer that is protective polyester layer; the medicated layer; and a protective liner that is removed prior to applying the patch. The patch can be applied to the buttock, abdomen, upper torso or on the upper arm. Each patch lasts for seven days, and is replaced each week for three weeks. The patch is removed during the week of the woman’s menstrual cycle. • “The Shot” (Depo-Prevera)—is an injectable contraceptive that is given every three months and stops the woman’s ovaries from releasing an egg. • The Ring—is a small, flexible, device that a woman inserts in her vagina once a month. It is left in for three weeks and is taken out during the week of her menstrual cycle. The ring releases estrogen and progestin that protects against pregnancy. • Diaphragm—is a latex disc that a woman places in her vagina. It should be left in the vagina at least six hours, but no more than 24 hours after intercourse. A diaphragm blocks a man’s sperm from entering the cervix. Spermicide is placed onto the diaphragm and kills the sperm. • Intrauterine Contraception (IUD)—is a small device that is placed into the uterine cavity. In the U.S., there are two types of IUDs: the Copper T IUD and the LNG-IUS. The IUD is effective for at least 10 years. • Contraceptive Foam—is placed in the woman’s vagina using an applicator and has two effects: it kills and destroys sperm and blocks the man’s fluids from entering the cervical canal. The foam stops sperm from getting to the egg. Foam is the most effective when used with a condom. • The Shield—is a soft silicone cup that fits over the cervix and is used with spermicide jelly or cream. The shield works to keep the sperm from moving past the cervix and the spermicide prevents sperm from moving toward the egg. • The Sponge—is considered a barrier method of preventing pregnancy. The sponge acts as a barrier to prevent sperm from entering the cervix, and is most effective with women who have never had a child. Because it’s a vaginal barrier method, the sponge may help in preventing some STDs including gonorrhea, chlamydia and trichomoniasis. For more information on the various types of birth control available, please consult with your gynecologist.

• Driving on the wrong side of the road or in the shoulder. • Following too close to another car. • Narrowly missing another car or object by passing too closely. • Braking erratically. • Driving without headlights. • Stopping inappropriately in places such as green lights and crosswalks with no pedestrians, etc. What to Do: • Stay far behind the assumed drunk driver. • Get out the way carefully. • Wear your seat belt and make sure that all passengers have their seat belts on as well. • Stop right away and look for a phone. • Call 911 and give them the location, and description of the car. This could help save a life. What Not to Do: • Do not try to pass the car. • Do not try to stop the vehicle. • Do not follow too closely. The car could spin out of control or stop abruptly.

HOW YOU CAN HELP PREVENT DRUNK DRIVING: • Have a plan available for how you and your friends will return home safely: assign a designated driver; arrange for someone who is not drinking to pick you and your friends up; or use public transportation such as the bus, train or cab. • Drive home with a friend that has had too much to drink. • If someone you know has had too much to drink and intends to drive, take their keys away from them and either drive them home yourself or find another means of transportation for them. If you don’t know someone and see that they are too drunk to drive, notify the bartender or owner of the establishment to take their keys from them. Most places that serve alcohol have experience dealing with intoxicated people.

ARE THERE ANY ADVANTAGES OR DISADVANTAGES TO HAVING A SKATE CLUB THAT IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR 30 AND UNDER? No, we feel that there are no advantages or disadvantages to [having] a skate group under 30; skating knows no age. 3. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON SKATE CLUBS WITH OLDER MEMBERS? In our opinion, skate clubs with older members shows passion and commitment to the skate world. They’re also always fun to watch. 4. DO YOU FEEL THAT THE OLDER SKATE CLUBS OR THEIR MEMBERS HAVE INFLUENCED YOU? We are influenced by all groups, no matter what age. But, older skate groups tend to work together more efficiently and [with] less bickering. 5. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS THAT YOU WISH TO SHARE WITH THE URBAN ROLLERSKATING COMMUNITY? If you have the passion to skate, go for it. [It] doesn’t matter how many times you fall, what does matter is how many times you get up. Keep trying and enjoy yourself.

a group – we’re like family. 2. ARE THERE ANY ADVANTAGES OR DISADVANTAGES TO HAVING A SKATE CLUB THAT IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR 30 AND UNDER? [No,] we’re open to all members. 3. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON SKATE CLUBS WITH OLDER MEMBERS? I’ve always felt [that] older skate groups are more heartfelt and more open to newer skate groups and they’re drama-free and just have a love for skating – groups such as the Smooth Divas and the Carolina Cruisers. 4. DO YOU FEEL THAT THE OLDER SKATE CLUBS OR THEIR MEMBERS HAVE INFLUENCED YOU? Yes, we do because they love to skate and it’s always a good time. It’s never about who’s better, we just show each other what we have and have fun with it because we all have a love and passion for skating. 5. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS THAT YOU WISH TO SHARE WITH THE URBAN ROLLERSKATING COMMUNITY? Never make [skating] a competition. Just show love toward one another and keep the skating community alive!

1. DID YOU INTEND TO CREATE A 30 AND UNDER SKATE CLUB? IF SO, WHY? Our intentions in forming CMW was to bring together some of the traveling female skaters and create a skate group that would emulate the skate style of Chicago; while showing that female skaters can roll like the fellas. We wanted to create a group that embraced our individual skills and talents. In addition to this, we try to learn and enhance one another’s abilities. Our average skate age is under 30. We never intended to be exclusively 30 and under…so we definitely do not discriminate against age. 2. YOUTH

Continued from the previous page

Younger skaters may have the drive and circumstances to skate and travel more, which can be a great advantage to a skate club. However, with youth may come inexperience or lack of wisdom, which can lead to issues when making important decisions that will affect the skate club. Our different aspects of life and experiences have added to our creativity and it strengthens our club. It really depends on the mindsets of the members of the club, and not their ages implicitly. 3. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON SKATE CLUBS WITH OLDER MEMBERS? For the most part, it seems that dedicated skaters started skating before the age of 30. Because of this, older skaters have years of experience to pass on to younger skaters. They help show younger skaters how to use passion, style and commitment to take their skate clubs to newer heights. It would be wise for any skate club to have both older and younger members to keep things balanced. You might say one feeds the other – it goes hand in hand. If you remove the young and upcoming, then we have no future. Remove the older, [and] then we have no teachers to teach, so the culture dies. Many of us have invested too much on the wood to just let [that] happen! 4. DO YOU FEEL THAT THE OLDER SKATE CLUBS OR THEIR MEMBERS HAVE INFLUENCED YOU? Older skate groups have motivated us to want to be better skaters. When you first learn how to skate, you learn the fundamentals of your skate style. As a younger skate club, we try to build on the fundamentals and incorporate our generation’s movements and style. 5. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS THAT YOU WISH TO SHARE WITH THE URBAN ROLLERSKATING COMMUNITY? The urban rollerskating community needs to embrace older skate clubs for their investment of time, dedication, finances and the legacy for what we love to do. It is also important to remain humble and respectful. Have respect for yourself and other’s style and creativity. Remain humble, because there is no one person above the wood.

Location: Rocky Mount & Raleigh, North Carolina Home skating rink: Star City Skate & Play Year founded: 2007 Average age of club members: 19 Contact Information: sk8nation252@yahoo.com; www. myspace. com/252nation Club President: Mckeith “M. Deezy” Myrick 1. DID YOU INTEND TO CREATE A 30 AND UNDER SKATE CLUB? IF SO, WHY? Not really, I do not discriminate with age at all. There were a lot of [local] skaters that had talent and we have a very different style that people have not seen; so, I decided to take our style to an urban international level. I’ve actually had people over 30 ask about our organization. 2. ARE THERE ANY ADVANTAGES OR DISADVANTAGES TO HAVING A SKATE CLUB THAT IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR 30 AND UNDER? The only advantage of having a 30 and under skate club is we have a huge future ahead [of us] in the urban skating community. 3. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON SKATE CLUBS WITH OLDER MEMBERS? I have no problem at all with [older] skate clubs. It good to see people 30-70 years [of age] still rolling – and that amazes me. 4. DO YOU FEEL THAT THE OLDER SKATE CLUBS OR THEIR MEMBERS HAVE INFLUENCED YOU? A lot of older skate clubs have influenced me to keep skating. The Carolina Cruisers, Master Rollers, DreamTeam Skating Association and Sista’s in Motion…all [of] these groups come in the rink with so much energy and roll like they’re still young. I love to see all of them perform on the hardwood. 5. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS THAT YOU WISH TO SHARE WITH THE URBAN ROLLERSKATING COMMUNITY? Skaters, we appreciate all [of] the love and support in the urban community. Hit us up on myspace.
