The Melbourne landmark must be rooted in a concept of the future and have identified the year of people 2019 and the commencement in Australia of the co living with animal as being the cardinal themes on which my vision should be based. There is an intrinsic value in our being able to readily observe wild animals. The untraditional living space is a way which explore the new relationship between the wild animal and human. As the Australian living heritage, local animals would shape the distance with humans. This animal-human model in the form of vertical zoo can be a sample which would apply in other city of the world.

Kangaroo
The angle came from Kangaroos.
Australia consider kangaroos as iconic and part of their heritage. As a nation we have acknowledged their special place in the hearts by placing the red kangaroo supporting the left side of the Federation Shield on the Coat of the Arms of Australia. As Australia’s human population continues to rise there ae a number of pertinent questions that need to be considered by the Australia public.
Do we want kangaroos roaming freely through the Australia Landscape? How do we value kangaroos in our modern landscape? If we want them in our landscape, how much are we willing to pay for this?
On the other hand, tourism is a major industry in Australia, directly providing 500 000 jobs and indirectly another 500 000jobs across the continent in research of 2012. Surveys show that 68% of these international visitors wish to see and if possible interact with the animals. They have seen and read the promotional literature of Australia that strongly promotes: The Kangaroo’. When they visit Australia the most popular animals that they wish to see are kangaroos, preferably in the wild. Second, they want to interact with the kangaroos, an in particular to be photographed in close proximity to an individual or a group of kangaroos. Next they wish to feed a kangaroo. Consequently there is a demand by the tourist industry for access to tractable kangaroos. Generally this is readily accommodated. Tourist destinations with tractable animals in suitable enclosures are common throughout Australia, and especially so near all major cities.
Even though people want and in many instances demand to see kangaroos, most know little about them. There has been little to no attempt to educate Australians or overseas tourists to the fact that there are large number of kangaroo species.

Elevation

I see and I remember.
The wild life observation and learning park is trying to find the answers vertically in the unique site which located in a challenging situation. Based on the living animals, the park would offer people the opportunity to interact with wild animals, develop the basic knowledge and history of them. Public would learn the knowledge of Victoria local animals, the animal body form, the hopping and climbing, the herbivorous diet, the reproduction, and so on. The park will show the public the whole life of some animals without bothering them.
People would learn the knowledge by both participation and digital (VR, AR). The digital centre will scan and copy typical animal’s behaviour utilizing the VR and AR technoledge. The digital simulation of distinct animal would provide the closest observation and interaction for people.
Except providing understanding of the future animal- human relationship, the park also focus on the prehistoric animals in Victoria.

In facilities where tourist are able to mingle with kangaroos, the kangaroos maintain their individual ‘flight distance’. If a tourist approach the animal and moves within that distance the kangaroo generally moves away. If the person again move towards the threshold of the kangaroo’s flight distance, and again the animal will move off. Different kangaroo species have different flight distances, and within a species different individuals have different flight distances. As long as humans move slowly and quietly among kangaroos there is little likelihood of problems arising. When humans make sudden rapid movement towards an individual or a group of kangaroos they will take flight, a natural response to a perceived threat. On rare occasions an individual kangaroo may exhibit aggressive behaviour to humans.
Depend on the special behaviours, the park base on the foundation of protecting the kangaroos and humans. Different distances will be set by the different locations. Human interact with kangaroos in different extend without harming the natural habit of animals.
The wild life observation and learning park would be a totally self-sufficient learning experience which the natural energy source of sun, wind and water to power its operations and has a sophisticated electronic communications as its central core system. The food, the excrement, and the activities of animals also are the part of the circulation. Each process will be showed to the public who wants to get the information of the small closed world.
Depend on the site limitations, the park will be organised in a vertical way. All the living space, function facilities, operation systems will be set from the underground which connect with the Yarra river to the really tall space which would portray the skyline of Melbourne city.
The design of the animal accommodation and structures for animal well-being/presentation would be such that each world be an eye-catching feature in itself when viewed form the immediate locality, whilst the overall complex when viewed form the air, surrounding open spaces and distant buildings would have the undeniable identity of Melbourne zoo and be recognisable instantly as such in the same way as the landmark in other city.

Project 1- Coffee Making Process
GRIND

Melbourne is the capital of coffee. People who live in Melbourne enjoy having coffee every day. The barista from Melbourne has won several international barista competitions. This has led more people to start learning to make coffee. The unique process of making coffee in Melbourne becomes more and more popular in the world. “Small decaf skinny latte, double shot with 2 sugars, extra hot, less foam ” This is an order from a customer. An experienced barista needs to make a perfect cup of coffee quickly. The barista not only has to be proficient in operating the coffee machine but also adjusts the parameters according to the preferences of the customer, sometimes even taking into account the weather factor. The coffee machine makes it possible to produce standard espresso. Barista’s preference gives coffee vitality. Both are indispensable. There are no two identical cups of coffee in the world.
The event is Making coffee. My project shows three main steps in making coffee: Grind, Press and Extract, Steam and Pour, and explores the effects of two factors (machine and barista) on each step of making coffee.
Grind coffee bean With A blade grinder: The blade looks (and works) like a propeller and is seated in the center of the reservoir. The beans are poured into the reservoir and the top is replaced. Putting some pressure on the top or in some cases holding pressure on a button causes the blade to spin, pulverizing the coffee beans. Barista has to control the grinder to produce coffee power from fine to coarse. The longer they grind, the finer the grind will be.
TAMP, EXTRACT STEAM, POUR

Tamping is the often underestimated movement carried out before the portafilter is turned into the brew group – that is the distribution and the tamping pressure of the coffee powder in the portafilter. Only a truly well-trained barista with much experience is perfect at it, because the smooth flow of the movement by which the uniform pressing and, thus, condensing of the coffee powder in the portafilter occurs is decisive; this is the only way to make the water flow uniformly through the portafilter, thereby ensuring optimum extraction and releasing all the desired flavours.
Steamed milk is the end result of milk being exposed to high pressured steam from an espresso machine. It is made by introducing steam gradually into milk until the natural fats within it expand to create ‘micro-foam’, a layer of very small milk bubbles. The end result is a smooth, silkily beverage perfect for espresso based drinks. The idea sounds simple enough, but in practice it requires a gentle touch and sound technique. When the milk is well-spun, the foam will pour out of the jug first because it sits near the top. The key is to pour the milk along side the cup by resting the spout of the

The ‘ornament’ vs ‘decoration’
The notion of ‘decoration’ from the realm of essentialism no longer survives in this Cybornic manifesto.
Instead, the ambi guous and non-homogeneous spatial quality, with its functionalized ornaments, challenges the traditional perception of architecture.
All space and ornaments are organized under the ‘stitching and spinning’ diagram that provides revolutionary force to break down the essentialism of architectural vocabulary.
It generates a new identity and lifestyle that push out barriers in between the two contradictory events.

As one of the biggest railway transportation hub, the city of Zhengzhou is equipped with advanced railway system.
High-rise Complex Design
This site is located next to Zhengzhou Railway Station, with its west side adjoining the railway. The unique location of this site can enable people from different directions to notice the building inside, from where they could know something about this city.
For passengers on the train, this building looks just like a green rail way soaring into the sky, with what used to be horizontal becoming vertical and the two-dimensional railway image changing into three-dimension. Thus this great impression of the building tends to linger on people’s mind. What’s more, this style of the building conforms to the requirement of the landmark building within the limited area.
The public space is constructed within the building, because the surrounding environment is a little bit out of order.

With a long history, the city of Suzhou is abundant in cultural sites and natural spots. As early as in Qin and Han dynasties, Suzhou has become the transportation hub within the surrounding nine states.
At present, the city of Suzhou enjoys multiple reputations like “Home to China’s Ornamental Stones” “The Land of China’s Painting and Calligraphy Art” “Home to China’s Circus” “Land of China’s Folk Art(Paintings of Zhong Kui)” and “Home to Sizhou Drama”.
Lingbi stones originate from Lingbi County of Anhui Suzhou. As one of the traditional ornamental stones in China, Lingbi stones are the embodiment of thinness, wrinkles, and transparency. Besides, it is endowed with unique appearance, color, texture and quality, thus forming its unique charm and greatness. After assimilation of other stones’ strength, Lingbi stones rank the first among china’s four famous stones, and it is given the fame of “The First Stone Worldwide” by Qian Long emperor of Qing dynasty.
This design aims to display the thinness, wrinkles, and transparency of Lingbi stones through modern techniques, and to form the cultural landmarks of Suzhou with local features.
Through cutting and reduction of the basic shapes, a relatively complete and independent architecture composed by planning hall and office building comes into being. Standing at the north side of the site is the office building that near the administrative building. The planning exhibition hall is located at the south side. Alongside east part of the executive square, a main entrance to the main exhibition hall on the second floor is designed, to which the hordes of people need to pass through some steps. The first floor of the exhibition hall is introduction of the history of the city, and the second floor is about modern city and digital model, the third floor is about the future of the city, and the fourth is for urban interactive experience. All these comprises a special architecture layout with the history part at the bottom, the current city section at the middle and the future vision at the top.

Function and Energy Consevation

Ventilation
Hollow structure with multiple air passages is formed by taking advantages of the lanes and courtyard. This kind of structure conforms to the dominant wind direction in summer and it can strengthen the effect of wind, since the wind comes inside from the lower part and comes outside through the upper part, forming the hot air pressure, and then it meets with the natural wind, making it much stronger.
Sunlight
The building uses the chinese traditional structures of courtyard, patio, skylights and sun terrace, which can not only save energy and provide comfortable shades, but also can reduce costs for the latter operation of the planning exhibition hall. The east and west side of the hall are mainly constructed with physical walls, with partial lighting surface adopting grilles. The patio is combined with the recessed court side in buildings to from shades part, escaping the sunlight form east to west. The roof of atrium is designed with folding skylight, which can bring in natural lights and reduce the energy consumed by the whole building while avoiding direct sunlight.
The exhibition center stretches itself among the courtyard, and different views can be seen when walking to disparate places, thus an indoor space with rhythmical changes is formed.

This project is located in the northeast of Shenzhen, about 50 minutes drive from the city center, and is located in the northeast corner of the intersection of Baolong Avenue and Baolong 4th Road, Baolong High-tech Park, within a halfhour city circle of Longgang Central District. The total land size of the project is about 37015.98 square meters.

2 Traffic branches + functional mix + ecological energy saving + interesting public =3D city
3 Build an eco-smart city integrating office, business, talent apartments and perfect services, and create a "vigorous Silicon Valley, ecological home" with an innovative environment, innovative atmosphere and life charm

Simple changes in the skyline and monotonous space are not conducive to the formation of the iconicity of each period.
Generation Principle
Improving the bottom space has resulted in a crowded upper space. Increase in height and increase cost. Scattered layout, no sense of enclosure. No change between periods.
Direction
Break the monotony, create landmarks in stages, and the skyline is full of change. The bottom space is enclosed, and the upper space is sparse and rich in layers. The office layout mode is not required at different heights, and it is more possible to develop in stages.

Optimal Choice
The circulation of the park is centered on people, and people and vehicles are diverted. The main entrance of the car dealership is located at Baolong Fourth Road, along the north side. The east side of the land boundary is set up with a driveway, and the garage entrance is located near the main entrance to facilitate the entry and exit of motor vehicles as soon as possible, reducing the impact of noise and exhaust on the park environment . Intensive and efficient vertical traffic body, continuous horizontal walking system with sunshade, connecting various functional units in series to form a mobile transportation network
The first floor is overhead. The auxiliary functions and commercial functions are arranged on the first floor, emphasizing the openness of the first floor. The 6-meter high height creates the possibility for later use and transformation of the mezzanine.
Through the two-tier platform, the production supporting functions are connected to the surroundings to form a public service platform in the area.

The office function unit is modular. According to the requirements of functional area, design the standard module scale, and connect the modules to form a combination of modules with different areas. At the same time, through the intervention of the courtyard and the atrium, the building area has a certain range of expansion and contraction within the same module size. Make post-adjustment calm and diverse, and bring maximum flexibility to lease and sale.

Cold lane
The narrow and tall patios and roadways in Lingnan area have the dual functions of natural ventilation and self-shading, which can create a shady environment on compact land and improve the quality of space. It is the concept of the "passive" green design of southern architecture.
Multi-channel ventilation system
According to Shenzhen's dominant wind direction, the side courtyard, atrium, garden, overhead and other treatments form a porous channel ventilation system. According to the trend of Shenzhen's dominant wind, the southeast entrance and the northwest exit are guided by the situation; the low-level entrance and the high-level exit are combined with the natural wind to increase the heat pressure; the wide entrance and the narrow exit enhance the air guidance.

Gardens
The roof design of the retails is richly multi-layered and makes full use of OCT’s green atmosphere. The sunken atrium garden and gardens inside the office introduce natural light and pays attention to the integrity of public space. The feeling of mutual penetration of indoor and outdoor spaces reflects the exquisite and unique design taste through the details.
Landscapes
The design pays attention to the integrity with the adjacent natural landscape. It preserves the original water and plantations. Thus the landscape organization and green layout design reduce dust and noise to lessen the vehicle impact on the office area. The integration between artificial and natural environments creates a distinct and promising urban environment.

Consecutive Retailing Roofs
Cascading retails create a consecutive 3D interface.

We see the public space of the lot as diverse and tinged with distinct natural and humanistic characters. It promotes event exchanges and stresses OCT’s personalities as being tolerant and open.
3D Park
With respect to the urban interface and district scale, the design mainly has natural green space. Together with lawns, woods, gentle ramps, 3D water scenery and roof platforms, the park will become a place for resident recreations and unofficial exchanges.

Club Design
The club and the top of the building enjoy magnificent supertall landscaping resources. Together with the OCT Air Art Center at its bottom the club be become an art icon among the “four-point-one-circle”.

09 Guangming Culture Art Center
Guangming Culture Art Center is located within Guangming Phoenix City, standing southwest of the Park Road, and it is adjacent to Guangming New City Park.
General Layout Design and Architectural Distribution
The performing center, cultural center, library and science and technology museum of Guangming Culture Art Center are designed according to the local mountain landscape. Through the combination of Guangming book city and the curved lines, each part forms an independent and integrate unit. The performing center is designed facing the main road of Guang Qiao road of the city and the reshaped city scenery is close to New City Park, therefore these two form the cultural corridor connecting subway station and the Park. Moreover, a cultural square is formed through the composition of the book city and this corridor, a place that not only links to each function unit, but also provides the citizen with public space for gatherings, rest, entertainment and sports.
This site is close to the New City Park, and the Guangming green-belt(run through the site) connects some important natural elements like mountain, water and garden, which is regarded as a belt links work and life, city and home. Obviously, its natural resource plays an important role in the whole design, so how should the Guangming Culture Art Center takes advantage of it?
Concept
Culture + (city), culture + (life), culture +(green)
Positioning at “Green Guangming”, the whole design targets to create a prosperous city with modern functions as well as a diversified green cultural center with pastoral flavors, through the integration of the New City Park and Guangming green belt.

Function Interaction
The distribution of theater, cultural center, science and technology museum, art gallery and library is reasonable, and they are connected by the matching facilities in the lowered courtyard.
There is a theater that can hold 1300 people. Space above the lobby of the theater and the seat is intensively used to create a multifunction theater.
Cultural center and science and technology museum are built together, and their exhibition hall and training place are for common use.
The library is adjacent to the book city, and they are connected to each other through vertical passage, which makes the reading here more free and casual.
The construction of the art gallery is adapted to the surrounding landscape, and more elegant and artistic atmosphere is created with beautiful views filtrating into the skylight.

Site Plan
Culture Art Center of Guangming new district is composed of five parts
By making use of the elevation differences of local landform, the location of different functional units is gradually lowered.
Sunlight of one place be blocked by the other, forming a cold lane where the sun is sheltered.
Public space matching the service is distributed alongside the central square. Linked to all functional units, it offers an activity space for citizens.
Harmonious Coexistence
The elevation difference inside the site reaches to 12 meters, and there exist natural slops. Thus we take advantage of this and reshape the landform to lower part of the buildings, which enables a harmony between the construction and the nature. Outer scenes permeate into the court side in buildings, with green sunsheltering structures on the roof, the whole place is quite agreeable and comfortable.
They form an integrity along with the Guangming book city through curved lines.
The open road of it brings in people and links the subway station with the New City Park, forming the cultural corridor. Guangming “Green Belt” runs through the southern part of the site, and it takes advantage of the cultural corridor, which enables it to pass through the inner part of the site, thus invigorating the atmosphere surrounding the green belt.
Bookshop
Science and Technology Museum Cultural Center

Tour Path
Various kinds of tour paths are constructed to connect the cultural corridor with New City Park, where citizen can experience different cultural life.
Public Space
A multilevel and dimensional square is formed with culture center surrounding it, and this square serves as a public space for citizens to rest and have fun. By making use of the terrace garden, other commercial facilities are constructed alongside the central square to for bring convenience to citizens here.
People mainly come to the New City Park by coming through the cultural corridor with natural height differences. External roads of this site are for vehicles, while the internal roads are 28m high above the major pedestrian road, thus people and vehicles go on separate roads without interference to each other.

Block the Sunlight through Vertical Plane

This project designs the outside corridor styled curtain walls which could block the sunlight and offer a space for green plants. Energy-saving measures like outdoor adjustable sun-shading structure, fixed sunshading structure and indoor window shade can greatly increase the energy efficiency of the building.

This project is supposed to be implemented at the northeast of Shenzhen city. Located within the half-an-hour-driving city circle of Long Gang Central District, it only takes about 50 minutes to drive to the downtown area. Based on the development requirements of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co.,Ltd, the company plans to build a research and office building, which could hold approximately 4800 workers of different departments.
In accordance with the design principles of the city, the 200m-high headquarter tower is located near the roads intersection southwest of the city, providing a good scene of the corporation. Standing at the southeast of the site, the 100m-high sale tower is adjacent to city main roads. Other office buildings are designed at the north side, and a central square is thus formed. Besides, the height of these buildings is reduced in order to extend an indirect axis landscape of the green view from the northern mountain. With northern part moderately covered by the buildings and the south totally open to the outside, an integrate building layout is thus formed, together with other area bought by CGNPC.
