FLOATING COLLECTIVE The fishing village design in Taihu Lake based on the combination of multiple maritime economy and space prototype

Location: Taihu Lake, Suzhou, China Group Work(1/3) , Team Leader Instructor: Jingbo Yan, Shiliang Wang Time: 2021 Contributions: Leader, Concept Design, Parameterization, Rendering, Modeling, Floor plan, etc The design of the marine village is inspired by the idea of fishing and living together, in order to evoke a sense of nostalgia for fishing. The design takes into account the characteristics of the fishery industry and is divided into two types of village forms: one for the fishing season and another for the closed season, allowing for the upgrading and transformation of the industry.

Taihu Lake is rich in fish such as green prawns, whitebait and white fish.

However, due to the construction of water conservancy projects, overfishing and unreasonable fishing methods, the fishery resources in the Taihu Lake Basin are gradually depleted. Although

Special Unit Analysis

The villages are scattered and fishing points are connected in series by trunk lines. The spaces on the backbone have warehousing and transportation function to improve the efficiency of the fishery industry; During the closed season, fishery, agriculture and tourism develop integrated.

Different units are combined to form different functional groups.

The project aims to define the psychological changes experienced by multiple generations of Chinese immigrants, both legal and illegal. The researcher plans to use architectural language to convey the psychological changes of illegal immigrants during different time periods. The ultimate goal is to express these changes through various architectural elements, culminating in a climax at the end of the building.

This building is a research institution a ff i l i a t e d w i t h t h e u n i v e r s i t y a n d specializes in polar science and marine life in the polar regions. Besides serving basic scientific observation functions, the building also acts as an indicator to alert humanity to protect the environment and promote global climate change, especially in the face of the continuously rising sea level in the Arctic.

With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, a large amount of greenhouse gas emissions have caused the Earth's temperature to continuously rise. This climate change has already begun to have a significant impact on our living environment and economic activities.
