We continue working for the transfer of all our machinery to our new premises
A few weeks ago we concluded the transfer of all the machines from one of the machining workshops
Getting closer!. In Xcentric Ripper we continue with the transfer of all the machinery and part of the stock, to the new premises.
Since the middle of October, when we started moving, we have already transferred all the machinery from 3 of the workshops. This way, we already have in the new factory all the lathes, both those for machining small and large parts, all the necessary material for the assembly area, and some of the larger milling machines and machining centres.
Taking advantage of this transfer, some of the machines are being renewed, consequently there is still work to be done.
As you can see in the photo, an XR10 is helping us to make the necessary pits for the larger machines.
Our dealer in Scotland had a very successful result from this Exhibition last month of April
Our dealer in Scotland, Highland Hammer Hire, assisted to the Scotplant 2018 Exhibition, which was held on the 20th and 21st of April in Edinburgh. This biennial event is the biggest equipment exhibition in Scotland.
On display they had the XC15 Xcentric Crusher which attracted a lot of interest from all types of customer. The most common
feedback they got from visitors was how impressive and quick the granulometry adjustment is. Many times quicker than the competitors product and much simpler. Also of interest was the optional cross jaw inside the Crusher. The recycling visitors were very interested in this.
Beside the Crusher they had a Grado Cero 25.120 Hardox bucket. This bucket was sold to west coast
firm Kenneth Maclennan Contracting where they’ll be using it to excavate and handle blasted and crushed rock.
Overall the exhibition was successful, they got a full enquiry book of very positive leads and are now making a series of customer site visits in preparation of demonstrations across Scotland.

To learn more about the Grado Cero Group, in this issue of our magazine ‘Miles Ahead’ we have spoken with one of the Expeditions Department workers, Cristian Alonso, who will tell us how he sees the company from his point of view after 5 years working with us.

What would you highlight of Xcentric Ripper as a company?
The closeness, from the level of workshop partners to the boss. You can see him by the workshop at any time and stop to talk to him.
What do you like most about your work here?
What I like most about my job is that every day is different.

My work is different every day, one day I charge a 5 ton merchandise for India, and next day a 50 kg merchandise for Madrid
next day I can be preparing the shipment of a tooth to Madrid that weighs 50 kg.
Tell us an anecdote of the time you have been working with us, a moment that remains stored in your memory.
It is not an anecdote as such, it is the moment in which you realize that you are already self-sufficient. You enter the company without knowing absolutely anything about the assembling process or other
tasks, and little by little you are being taught by the different people around you and the day comes when you realize that you already know the whole process from the arrival of the order to the delivery of a machine, passing by all the different manufacturing stages.
Finally, what would you have liked to do if you did not work here?
Well, the profession of fireman has always appeal to me.

Transabima Sarl is the company’s name of our distributor in Morocco
In this issue we will show you the beginning of Xcentric Ripper Maroc in the Moroccan Northwest and the entire network, in the hands of Said Daki, who is currently an official distributor of what is one of the booming limited liability societies of the moment.
It all starts in 2015 with the founding of Transabima Sarl, a company co-founded by Said Daki and Abdelilah Azzaoui. This subsidiary worked together with Kamacons, since it is a subcontractor of this one, which is presided over by the father-in-law
and father of the aforementioned co-founders respectively.
Transabima was responsible for what was the maintenance of the machinery used in the quarry, specifically supervising the proper functioning and cleanliness of those machines responsible for mobilizing and
excavating large amounts of land and stone. At first Kamacons had 2 quarries, but in 2016 they acquired a new one near the urban periphery, therefore only the hydraulic hammer was used. Said explains that one afternoon he was watching videos on YouTube about heavy machinery related to the company’s activity, when suddenly he came across the Xcentric Ripper channel where he saw a lot of videos of the hydraulic ripper and Crusher, in addition to numerous comparisons with alternative
products which left him quite impressed, assures one of the founders of Transabima.
It was there when he decided to talk about this idea to his fatherin-law and creator of Kamacons, who gave the go-ahead to the initiative. The next morning they got in touch with Javier Aracama, the Xcentric Ripper manager, who told them about all the advantages and how profitable it would be to start working with them.
That’s when Kamacons decided to buy an XR30 and get down
to work. “This would be a big step for the future in Morocco because, although rippers are currently being sold only in areas where explosives can not be used, people will end up realizing
People will end up realizing that it is very profitable and less expensive to work with us, besides being much more respectful with the environment
that it is very profitable and less expensive to work with us, in addition to that it is much more environmentally friendly “Said replies.
“We have the XR30 and the XR42 to demonstrate to customers. We execute an average of two demos a month and we also have a sales person that moves trough the Moroccan terrain explaining the advantages of our product,” says Said.
Opinions of two clients of our distributor in Morocco
What do you think of Xcentric Ripper?
It is the perfect machinery to perform work in not very hard terrain and with fractured rock.
How did you know about Xcentric Ripper? We knew of the existence of Xcentric Ripper thanks to the company Transabima, which got in touch with us knowing that we had problems with the blasting.
How often do you use it? We are working with the XR40 for 10 hours daily around 26 days a month.
What is your interest in Xcentric Ripper?
For us Xcentric Ripper has been our salvation, because before the prohibition to use blasting and after having invested millions in the field, we had no other option.
What do you think of Xcentric Ripper? Every day I am more surprised because of its efficiency and power and we are thinking of acquiring another machine like XR60 or XR80.
When did you start working with Xcentric Ripper and why did you buy our product? It all started with a series of complaints processed by our neighbours, which caused the government to prohibit the blasting in that area so the quarry was paralyzed, since the hydraulic hammers could do little in the field. The production was stopped until the people of Transabima arrived with a solution that we had never heard of, a hydraulic ripper. They gave us a demonstration and we were very satisfied with the work.
Why did you decide to work with Xcentric Ripper?
We decided to work with this company when we were doing an important job in Marrakech cleaning the Tichka curves. At first we worked with hydraulic hammers but then we heard about the vibrating ripper and decided to buy one from a French company which turned out to be a fraud because the machine stopped working after a week. We finally got in touch with Xcentric Ripper through Transabima and we were able to see this company’s product, which we are now using.
What are the advantages of working with Xcentric Ripper?
Mainly the high production rates and the minimum level of maintenance, as well as the advantage of being able to work on active roads.
Company: BULL BROS EARTHMOVING
Director: Robert Bull
We run an earthmoving and recycling business in Naracoorte, South Australia, home of the World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves.
We have our own Limestone Quarry in the Caves District in which we use a Komatsu 275 Dozer to rip and raise rubble for crushing. We have seams running through the quarry that the dozer can’t mark that we Hammer out or drill and blast and then Hammer down to size for the crusher.
I found the XR20 handled these areas far more cost effectively than drill and blast and far quicker and more efficiently than the Hydraulic Hammer.
Having seen how effective the XR20 worked we have ordered an XR30 and will be upgrading our Excavator to suit as we believe this will be even more productive for us.
