“ Cintas Center is the biggest competitive advantage we have. When somebody chooses a program, you’re choosing a home court, you’re choosing an atmosphere. I don’t think there’s a better home court in all of college basketball.”

XAVIER NATION,

The Xavier Basketball program is your program.

The XAVIER on the front of the uniform represents everyone in Xavier Nation. And the four-decades of growth that is Xavier Basketball mirrors the progress and development of the University itself.

The Xavier Basketball program only moves forward with your support. Great coaches and players want to put on the Musketeer uniform because of the incredible backing of Xavier Nation.

The Cintas Center is home to Xavier Basketball and is the University’s front porch. Loud and proud, Xavier Nation filling the Cintas Center gives our teams one of the best home court advantages in the country.

Over the last seven years, we have taken a step-by-step approach to improving the Cintas Center, beginning with projects that benefited our student-athletes – an academic center, new sports medicine and strength facilities, locker room updates – and ultimately moving on to fan amenities and building upgrades.

Today we are excited to announce the next phase of work in the Cintas Center, a two-year undertaking that will refurbish the suites and create a new club seating area. This is an impressive project that is part of an ongoing plan to incrementally improve the Cintas Center, ensuring that Xavier continues to have one of the finest and most feared on-campus basketball arenas in America.

As always, thank you for your loyal support of Xavier Basketball.

Sincerely,

A MESSAGE TO YOU 03

BUILDING FOR OUR FUTURE

While Xavier Athletics is certainly not the most important aspect of Xavier University, it is arguably the most visible piece of the University. Building on Father Jim Hoff’s vision and ensuring that the “front porch” of Xavier University is always in the very best shape is imperative. Our goals remain to attract the best students, the highest caliber student-athletes and provide a world-class experience for all who enter through the Cintas Center doors.

Develop Student-Athletes

Xavier student-athletes are at the heart of every single decision made within Xavier Athletics. Yes, Cintas Center is a venue for entertainment, but the vast majority of the time this building is home base for our flagship programs: men’s and women’s basketball. A constant and continued investment in their experience is instrumental, and as a part of this overall project, we have already taken three major steps forward to enhance the student-athlete experience at Xavier. First, a complete refresh of all locker rooms for all five programs in Cintas Center has been completed. We have also expanded the weight room and all-important fuel station, doubling the existing footprint and boosting a key area in player development and recovery. Finally, and most noticeably, Xavier Athletics has added an additional practice gym, the Klekamp Family Training Center, on the north side of Cintas Center. This space is one of the top training facilities in the country and will be a key stop on the recruiting visit. Most importantly, it will be a place for current student-athletes to hone their skills.

Enhance Fan Experience

Our brand is national. The ‘X’ is recognized and respected from coast to coast, and that is due to the continuous passion, drive and generosity of Xavier Nation. Our fan base is incredibly strong, and one that we do not take for granted. To sustain the growth of our fan base and to continue the upward trajectory of our programs, we must continually reinvest in the fan experience. Looking at new trends in entertainment and listening to our fans’ feedback is critical to guiding our next projects. Whether it is someone’s first time walking into the Cintas Center or they have been coming to games for over 20 years, we want this building to make a great impression. We have installed a state-of-the-art video board and upgraded our broadcast technology recently. As we look into the near future, we will make upgrades to existing seat locations, add gathering spots with the intention of bringing people together, create new premium hospitality spaces and add more ADA seating to Cintas Center.

Home Court Advantage

We, just like you, well up with pride when talking about the Cintas Center. We love showing it off on the national stage, and Xavier Nation creates the home court advantage the Cintas Center is known for. This place is special. As of this year, Cintas Center is 23 years old. A pivotal part of Xavier Athletics’ overarching plan is to make sure this focal point venue always puts its best foot forward. All the upcoming changes, both noticeable and behind-thescenes, will play a role in enhancing the day-to-day operations of the building, especially those tied to the student-athlete and game day experiences.

04 BUILDING FOR OUR FUTURE

WHAT’S NEW

How could a Xavier game get any better?

By updating and enhancing the Cintas Center, our goal is to provide Xavier fans the ultimate game day experience with exciting new hospitality spaces and unique seating areas throughout the Cintas Center.

WHAT’S NEW 05
CENTER COURT CLUB THE LOOKOUT SUITE LEVEL BREW HOUSE

Center Court Club

The Center Court Club, positioned on the east concourse, will be the newest premier club experience in Cincinnati. True to its name, the Center Court Club will be directly at mid-court, offering the best vantage point to watch Xavier Basketball along with elite service and comfort for you and your guests. Plush Club seats, all-inclusive food with an elevated menu, private restrooms and a full bar will make this a coveted seat location.

06 WHAT’S NEW
Self-Serve Station Grab & Go Club Bar

The Lookout

The Lookout was built in 2017. During this renovation, we will be making key changes to deliver a variety of seating options in this exciting and unique location.

While Row A will stay as-is, rows B and C will undergo significant changes to provide more seating choices for patrons in the Lookout. Row B will see a new seating style similar to a desk chair with comfort and conversation as the primary goals. Row C will be raised into a high bar-top seat with a convenient drink rail in front of you. The Lookout already offers all-inclusive food amenities and two drink tickets per game. The changes will further highlight the incredibly unique vantage point: right on top of the action.

COMING SUMMER 2023

Suite Level

Cintas Center’s suites have not been substantially updated since the building opened in 2000. A complete refresh of the entire suite level is important, and we will be updating everything from the seats to the carpet and layout. Suites at the Cintas Center will be the envy of every other venue in Cincinnati, and a place where entertaining clients or friends and family is made easy and exciting.

08 WHAT’S NEW

Brew House

With community and gathering points in mind, we introduce the Brew House, an open-air bar on the main concourse with seating and standing room views of the court. This unique space will open up the overall Cintas Center concourse and modernize the feel of the arena.

OVERVIEW

Prior to the 2024-2025 men’s basketball season, Xavier Athletics will conduct a New Seat Selection for Cintas Center. Construction on the new Cintas Center seating and hospitality areas will begin following the 2023-2024 season. Inherent with the structural changes to seating areas both in the lower and upper bowl is the need for the New Seat Selection. Xavier Athletics values every fan, and the seat selection process provides an opportunity to steward all the loyal and dedicated individuals that make up Xavier Nation. Similar to the process that took place in 2017, every men’s basketball season ticket holder will receive an appointment time to select seats. Appointment times will be based on an account’s Musketeer Points ranking as of April 1, 2024. There will be four options for someone to select their seats: online, by phone, in person, and by proxy.

How the New Seat Selection Process Works

The men’s basketball season ticket holder with the most Musketeer Points on April 1, 2024 will be ranked #1 and will be able to select seats at the first appointment time starting on May 1, 2024.

Fans wishing to influence their Musketeer Points for a higher seat selection priority have the opportunity to earn Musketeer Points from now through the point freeze on April 1, 2024. To see your current Musketeer Points total and priority rank, log in to your account at www.GoXavier. com/MyMusketeers or call the All For One Fund office at (513) 745-3223.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

01 – Why is the New Seat Selection necessary?

The Cintas Center renovations will affect the capacity within the arena by adding new seating areas, updating existing seating areas, removing seats, and adding additional ADA seats. Some sections will lose seats, while other new seating areas will be added. These upgrades will cause a new seating manifest to be created for the 2024-2025 season. Because some seats will no longer exist, the most fair and equitable way to determine seat locations is to conduct a new seat selection of the Cintas Center.

02 – Can I select the same seats I had last season?

If the seats are available at the time of your scheduled appointment, you will be able to select and purchase the same seat location you have had in previous seasons. Remember though, because of the renovations and new seating configuration, your seat location from past years may no longer exist.

03 – Will I be able to select seats with my friends?

Yes. Groups can arrange a selection time together. The group will be required to register with the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office. In fairness to all Xavier fans, group appointment times will be assigned based on the group member with the lowest amount of Musketeer Points. The group contact person will select seats for all members of the group during the scheduled appointment time.

04 – How can I improve my Musketeer Points Ranking?

Increase your current support of Xavier student-athletes through All For One Fund donations. Bonus Musketeer Points are now available by referring a friend to become an All For One Fund member, committing to an irrevocable planned gift and pledging your contribution over a period of time. Visit GoXavier.com/AFO to learn more about Musketeer Points.

05 – Will I purchase season tickets and begin making payments at the time I select seats?

You will have several payment options when you select your new seats during the seat selection process, but a per-seat deposit will be due upon selection. Full seat premium payments will be due by August 31, 2024 and full ticket payments will be due by October 1, 2024.

06 – Can I pass my seats to a family member or friend?

Yes. For more information on how the process works, please contact the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office (513) 745-3411 x7.

07 – What if I miss my appointment time or I am unavailable at my appointment time?

Those who miss their scheduled appointment time may choose their seats at any time after their appointment time has passed. If you know you will be unavailable to select your seats during your appointment time, you may designate a proxy to choose for you. You will be required to fill out a proxy form and mail it back to the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office. Please note that if you miss your scheduled appointment time, other season ticket holders will select seats during their appointment times and preferred seats may not be available.

08 – If I did not have a season ticket last year, how do I get involved in selecting seats?

You can get involved in the new seat selection process by making a $100 per-seat, non-refundable deposit. After making your season ticket deposit, any donations to the All For One Fund will help to increase your Musketeer Points ranking, therefore giving you an earlier selection time.

09

How many seats can I choose at my selection time?

All season ticket holders from the 2023-24 season have the ability to add up to two (2) seats to their existing allotment with eight (8) being the maximum number of seats that any account can have. If an account already exceeds eight tickets, that account will be able to purchase the existing number of tickets during the seat selection.

10 – How do I know if my Musketeer Points are active?

All current season ticket holders across all sports and current All For One Fund donors have active points. Musketeer Points must be active to be used for ticket and donor benefits. You can reactivate your points by donating to the All For One Fund, by becoming a season ticket holder or by putting down a deposit for new season tickets.
