“Where the land breathes, and time slows"
In the quiet heart of Tabanan, where mist lingers over the rice terraces at dawn, lies Kaba-Kaba, a village cradled by nature’s patience and the island’s ancient rhythm.
PLACE & CONTEXT
Nestled in Kaba-Kaba village, Tabanan Regency (30 minutes from Canggu) the land is surrounded by rice terraces, coconut trees, and sacred water temples.
A narrow path through traditional walls marks the gentle transition from the pulse of daily life to a realm of reflection and calm.
SHA Wellness
SHA Wellness
SHA’s spirit of innovation meets the raw beauty of Bali at Kaba-Kaba — where wellness technology is woven softly into the rhythm of nature. Here, architecture breathes with the land; science becomes serenity; and the intelligence of design dissolves into the stillness of Tabanan.

Beneath the acacia, a communal hearth combining the Labo Kitchen, wellness facilities, and social gathering spaces. It is here that wellness, food, and human connection intertwine — a communal hearth where the scent of earth meets the aroma of healing cuisine. The Labo Kitchen serves as both creative studio and gathering table, blending nutrition, ritual, and dialogue. Around it, open pavilions host yoga, meditation, and holistic treatments, each space softly illuminated by natural light filtering through the leaves.
From Landscape to Living Domain
THE TREE CABINS
Nestled within the inner forest of Kaba-Kaba, the Tree Cabins are designed as immersive retreats that reconnect the human body to the living landscape. Each cabin rises lightly above the ground, framed by timber and glass, allowing guests to sleep within the trees, surrounded by filtered light and the soft murmur of the forest. The architecture invites stillness yet every detail encourages presence, awareness, and the quiet rhythm of natural life.
Approaching each cabin becomes part of the healing process. Elevated pathways and gentle inclines encourage guests to walk mindfully through the forest, increasing daily steps as part of their wellness journey. The movement between the main wellness pavilion, dining spaces, and the cabins is designed to be restorative rather than routinetransforming the simple act of walking into a moment of reconnection with breath, light, and the scent of earth.
Kaba- kaba Wellness & Cabin embodies these missions:
• to create harmony between body and landscape, spaces that breathe with the earth and invite natural movement;
• to nourish connection, between people, between cultures, and between the material and spiritual;
• to build with meaning and gentleness, an architecture that respects tradition while embracing innovation.
Inspired by the sacred landscape of Bali and the intelligence of contemporary wellness design, Kaba-Kaba stands as a sanctuary of future hospitality, where design heals, light teaches, and every space is a return to balance.
