02 FORMS AND FIELDS IN A MODODERN INTERVENTION Residential Design for A Central Florida Residence 2019 | Individual Work The residential site is surrounded by a lake, mounting golf courts, and a grove of iconic pine trees in the central Florida. The structure of pine trees and the texture of pine needle floors were the inspiration for the design forms. The paving pattern was generated to abstract the experience of walking through a field of pine needles, with linear pavers, scattered colors, and irregular bandings. The color transition from white to grey as the visitors move through space. The design creates a residential experience that is secluded but not isolated from the community. Therefore the the site is zoned into public, semi-public, and entirely private areas.

03 COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION THROUGH ACTIVE SOCIAL INTERATIONS Commuity Master plannig for low income neighborhood 2019 | Group Work This project is located in east Gainesville, Duval Heights community. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s adjuncant to University Ave, east of University of Florida, South of Gainesville Regional airport, West of Morningside Education Center.The development of this community hub is an important stop for City of Gainesville to make in order to achieve its social equity goal as well as community enhancements.

The major challenges of this community design is to accomadate accesibility, sustainability, and safety within the site. Based on survey results from the residents of Duval Heights, the final design not only address all those issues by comprehensive planning stretegies but also strengthened connections between destinated sites and the rest of context.

Goals regarding sustainability, recreation, and education are achieveable through proposed programmings.

My responsibility: site anlysis diagrams, conceptual design of the master plan & Community Center, modeling for all sites, rendering, organizing graphics from group members, and putting together final presentation.

03 COMMUNITY PLANNING

04 DCP INTEGRATE Campus Design for an Interdisciplinary competition 2020 | Group Work The prompt for this design competition is to create an addition to our existing architecture building to connect our college to a boarder context and the rest of the campus masterplan.

The project team started with site analysis and case studies from other university projects in order to tie the new addition to the rest of campus ambience. We diagnosed the existing problems, such as discipline seperations, student & faculty seperations, and outdated stormwater managements.

Therefore, the design goal is to connect students from all disciplines, to enhance college identity, and to promote sustainability goal through collaborations between landscape and architectures, and realize the design through logical construction phasing.

The competition team is composed of two architecture students, a landscape architecture student myself, two construction management students, and an engineering student. The solution got the first place and an award of $3500 for our design stratgies and collaborations.
