The Mount Pavilion, Fleetwood
The Mount - newly restored and ready to welcome the whole family
Designed in the 1800s and built in 1901, the Mount in Fleetwood has undergone huge restoration over the last few years thanks to a generous £1m personal donation from Mrs Doreen Lofthouse and a further £2.4m grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Mount Gardens recently joined several other Wyre parks in receiving an esteemed Green Flag Award.
The pavilion and the lodge building are now home to a range of events and activities for the community to get involved with. Science and Discovery Clubs regularly take place at the pavilion, the activity sheets for which can be accessed online. Families can also enjoy a self-guided Tale Trail walk, created especially for The Mount. Charlie the Pavilion Keeper will guide you on your exploration around the pavilion and its grounds, looking for landmarks and wildlife while learning about The Mount's magnificent history. Download the trail from our website and begin your adventure!
