The type plate on 730, 733 and 740 front-wheel drive axles is located on the right-hand side of the axle housing, whereas on 725, 745, 750 and 755 axles it is located on the left-hand side of the axle housing.

Refer to the axle type shown on the plate to identify repair information in the Component Technical Manual.
