Target Throwing Day- Axe and Knife in West Yorkshire

Includes: all equipment A Target Throwing day of Flying Angels, Axe and Knife throwing. Starting 0930 with check in, and full safety briefing we commence with graduated tuition and practice to throwing accurately and competently at various static targets. A mini competition should reveal throwmeister of the day. Total time on the ranges is around 3 hours, followed by sojourn to the local for refreshment and tall tales of how well you threw.

Includes: instruction, full body wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets Discover the coastline in a new exciting way. Join qualified Instructors on an adventure around the pools, rocks and smugglers caves at Thornwick Bay. Coasteering is a mix of swimming, traversing the low level shoreline and jumping into the sea. The chalky cliffs around Thornwick give excellent conditions for this exhilarating adventure. Learn about the coastline and some of the interesting history of Flamborough during your tour. We provide Full body wetsuits, Helmets and Buoyancy Aids. You will need to bring towel, swimming costume and suitable footwear to get wet (suggest old trainers) but not open toed. The session will last two hours. Please be aware that there are no changing facilities so we will change at the side of the van. A you'll be getting wet anyway, why not make a day of it and join us for our Stand Up Paddleboarding in the afternoon? …

Spend Sunday leisurely cruising the Canal

Extras: lunch at the pub Spend the day exploring the countryside around historic Skipton, on the seventeen mile lock-free pound of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal whilst enjoying the outstanding beauty of the varied wildlife. There will no doubt be chance to sample the hospitality of the many waterside pubs. We will each get chance to a have go at driving for those that want to. Spice will provide tea, coffee & biscuits etc. but if you wish to bring anything stronger or any snacks of your own, feel free. We will need team cooperation at bridges & making drinks so if everyone comes prepared to muck in a bit it makes it a better day.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding also known as SUP is the fastest growing watersport over the past few years. SUP is an excellent cross training workout. As you are balancing on the board, you are exercising your legs whilst paddling works your arms and the core of your body. Our beginner lessons will get you up and paddling in a safe environment. James is our SUP expert who is a recognised BSUPA Instructor. Learn to get up on the board, the various paddle strokes, basic theory and rescue procedures. Essential skills to learn before venturing on your own. There are showers and changing facilities at the lake. We will email directions a few days before.
