Grifta solo instruction 2

Basic Grifta Solo Instruction’s 1. Plug the USB dongle into a pc 2. Press the G button (Home button) if no Led light appears recharge the Grifta via the micro USB port Led will show blue when charging, when the Grifta is fully charged no light LED is shown 3. The Grifta has three modes: 1. Green LED X-Input 2. Red/Green X-Input 3. HID Keyboard

= Home  = Back  = Start G

Press G for six seconds to switch between modes. Grifta has auto switch off.

To switch off manually press G for 9 seconds. To switch Six axis/Airmouse on or off, press Back and Start simultaneously for 1 second 4. To calibrate (when necessary)your Grifta open Windows 7/10 and go to Devices

5. Go to: Devices and Printers.

6. Right mouse click on the Grifta Morphing Gamepad icon and on the pull down menu select Game Controller settings

7. Highlight Grifta Morphing Gamepad and click on Properties

8. Check the functions of the Grifta: press all the buttons the joystick and the trigger.

If X Rotation and Y Rotation are moving wildly this is the normal output from the Six axis sensor in gamepad mode which at this moment is only programmed to be used as an Air Mouse in Keyboard mode (Red LED)

10. IMPORTANT! Switch off the Six Axis sensor/Air Mouse by pressing the forward and backward arrow buttons at the same time (Back and Start) the intention is to use this output as a gesture input for two or three input /actions such as “reload” “Jump” etc. But for now it’s just an Air Mouse in Windows.

11. Console adaptors like the Xim4, CronusMax and Titan One are designed to be used with a keyboard and the Grifta Solo in HID Keyboard mode is ideal for this purpose, however some adaptors such as the XIM4 will soon support the Grifta in D-input mode giving the thumbstick and trigger analog input. for up-to-date info on analog input please check the www.playgrifta.com website, 12. The Grifta is a new type of game input device and for some people it’s a steep learning curve, the choice of your first game is critical, chose something that your no so familiar with and therefore don’t have to “unlearn” first also try and chose something that doesn’t need the full use of a qwerty keyboard and be prepared to spend a little time trying and optimising different button binding options.
