McKean Cattle Company is on a veterinarian approved, yearly vaccination program. This program consists of a 10-way respiratory and 5-way leptospirosis vaccination both fall and spring. McKean Cattle also receive immunizations for pinkeye and clostridial diseases (7-way) in the spring.

McKean Cattle Company is also on a Johne’s testing program. This consists of an ELISA blood test for all young stock and fecal testing of mature cattle.
