YENEPOYA (Deemed to be University) Applications are invited for the position of NET/GATE qualified Junior Research Fellow (JRF) candidate for the ICMR funded project for 3 years. Project title: Gut microbiome and cancer cells crosstalk as a molecular drug target for colon cancer. Number of positions: One Duration of Project: Three years Amount of fellowship: Rs. 36,960/- pm (JRF) for first two year (Rs. 40, 600/- pm for third year as SRF)

Qualifications: Masters Degree (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, Biotechnology or any other interdisciplinary lifescience background with a minimum of 60% marks (equivalent CGPA) with NET/GATE qualification. Candidates with a good academic record, experience in research especially cancer biology, and excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are desirable. The selected candidate will work in an interdisciplinary field.
