Scientist B (Non Medical) Bio-informatics 1-Chennai 1(One) UR-1 1st Class Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Genomics/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Computer science/ Information Technology from a recognized university with 2 years of independent working experience with the development of computational whole genome sequence data analysis pipeline preferably in the command line based operating systems with various analytic programs and tools such as Perl/Python/R-Bioconductor packages/MATLAB/Excel/etc., Or Candidate with 2nd class Master’s Degree in the above mentioned subjects must have completed Ph.D in relevant subject with the required experiences. To develop and work with Mycobacterial whole genome sequencing data analysis pipeline for quality assurance, drug resistance, lineage prediction and genomic data representations. Programming for systematic data storage and management between NGS instrument, work station and data storage devices. Additional duties pertaining to the project. Not exceeding 35 years. salary Rs.48,000/- + HRA 6300/-P.M

Project Technical Officer (Lab) 2-Chennai 2(Two), UR-1,OBC-1 Graduate in Life Sciences from a recognized university with five years experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in Life Science. Candidates with earlier working experience on BSL3 laboratory handling of M. tuberculosis are preferred. To carry out laboratory experiments needed for the project such as clinical sample processing, LJ culture, DNA extraction, drug susceptibility testing (DST) in Bactec MGIT system, etc., Proper documentation of results in time bound manner and flexibility with duty hours towards the completion of project goals are required.
