support for research of crosscutting faculty groups and key instrumentation and equipment.

The WVU Office of Research Integrity and Compliance—helping faculty, staff, and students comply with all applicable federal, state, and institutional requirements and Policies.

The Office of Sponsored Programs—

providing support to WVU principal investigators in the acquisition and administration of externally funded projects for research, teaching and service. OSP reviews, negotiates, accepts, and initiates awards on behalf of WVU.

PURSUIT OF EXTERNAL FUNDING All faculty seeking external funding, especially from federal agencies, are encouraged to take advantage of workshops, seminars, mentoring plans, proposal review options, and a range of additional opportunities designed to help faculty increase competitiveness before submitting proposals to any external agency. There is no personal cost to participate in these opportunities.
