Design thinking is the thesis preparation before degree project which is an essential part of the degree project. A degree project is not valid without design thinking researching and support. In this book, I did research on the method and methodology of curved form building within and outside the city of St.Louis. Practitioner such as Eero Saarinen’s catenary arch, Gyo Obata’s shin shell concrete St.Louis Abbey church, their works featured the local trend called mid-century modernism, together with Buckminster Fuller’s aerodynamic forms...those practice opposed curves succumb to one-sided cuteness or beauty that result in energy or users’ suffering but advocate the interior and exterior reasons structurally, program or symbolically. Therefore, the sufficiency and necessity of curved form building can be justified when it serves the core essence of the supposed actions---Velodrome cycling.
