PNH Announces Retreats for 2024!

As we step into a new year, Project New Hope is excited to unveil its lineup of retreats for 2024, offering a range of transformative experiences for Veterans and their Families. These retreats are designed to foster healing, growth, and stronger connections within the military community.

Storytelling at Grotonwood: April 12th – April 14th Our year kicks off with the much-anticipated storytelling retreat at Grotonwood. Scheduled from Friday, April 12th to Sunday, April 14th, this retreat promises an engaging weekend of sharing and listening to powerful stories. The success of last year's event has inspired a similar approach to the spirit of storytelling.

Couple’s Retreat at Genesis: May 9th – May 13th Next, we invite couples to join us at Genesis from Thursday, May 9th to Monday, May 13th, for a transformative couple’s retreat highlighting The Cortina Method to resolve trauma. This journey is tailored for couples looking to deepen their connection, with workshops focusing on intimacy, communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Veterans and their Spouses will find a supportive community dedicated to enhancing health and wellness in all aspects of life.

Women Veterans Retreat at Genesis: June 6th – June 10th Continuing our commitment to cater to all community members, Genesis will help PNH host a TCM retreat specifically for women Veterans from Thursday, June 6th to Monday, June 10th. This retreat mirrors the structure of our very successful men’s retreat in 2033, offering a supportive and empowering environment.

Family Retreat at Camp Wightman: August 18th – August 23rd As summer peaks, we welcome families to Camp Wightman from Sunday, August 18th to Friday, August 23rd. Our Family Retreats are perfect for reconnecting after deployments or during transitions. Activities range from outdoor adventures like swimming and hiking to workshops on resiliency and communication, all in the company of other Military Families.

Men’s Retreat at Genesis: November 7th – November 11th To conclude our year, we will host another TCM Men’s Retreat from Thursday, November 7th to Monday, November 11th at Genesis. This retreat is designed similarly to last year’s TCM retreat, focusing on the unique experiences and challenges faced by male Veterans who are looking to resolve their trauma.

A Year of Growth and Healing Each retreat is carefully crafted to meet the diverse needs of our community, offering a safe space for Veterans and their Families to grow, heal, and connect. With a mix of recreational activities, workshops, and shared experiences, Project New Hope continues to be a beacon of support and renewal for those who have served our country.

Marsha Robidoux In the heart of our community at Project New Hope, volunteers play a pivotal role, and this month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Marsha Robidoux. Since the beginning of September, Marsha has been an indispensable part of our team, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to our mission. Her daily presence in the office has been nothing short of a blessing, significantly contributing to the smooth operation of Sully’s Food Pantry.

Marsha's diligent efforts in filling bins, stocking shelves, and readily taking on any task we ask of her, have been instrumental in our ability to serve those in need efficiently.

Beyond her volunteer work, Marsha brings a unique and vibrant energy to our team, fueled by her passion for Harley Davidson and her active involvement with the Auburn Tuttle Post.

Her enthusiasm and dedication are contagious, inspiring all of us at Project New Hope.

Marsha's blend of tireless service and spirited community involvement embodies the spirit of volunteerism we cherish. We are incredibly grateful for her contributions and are proud to recognize Marsha Robidoux as our Volunteer of the Month. Thank you, Marsha, for your outstanding dedication to Veterans and for being a remarkable part of our family!

Thank you for all of the giving!

We were happy to assist the 26th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade with Christmas Toys & Stocking Stuffers for their Christmas party.

Thank you, 89th RTT Massachusetts State Police Recruit Training Troop for volunteering at Project New Hope Inc. Non-Profit Veterans Organization Sully’s Veteran’s Food Pantry this morning inventorying food donations, stocking shelves, filling freezers, unloading vans and sorting toys for our Operation Jeepers Christmas Program.

Thank you, Auburn Sportsman's Club & Tiny Tim's Cafe for your generosity. None of our success would be possible without generous donors like you. Thank you again for your commitment and kindness.
