Nighttime came all too quickly. I was in my purple–painted room, laboriously working on my homework while sitting on my bed–my designated desk since I didn't actually have one. Outside my door, my mom was bustling about in the kitchen looking for who knows what and my little brother was probably in his room secretly playing some sort of online game. It was a typical evening. Normally my dad would be home watching sports whatever, but instead, he was at his annual one–week long fishing trip with my oldest brother Mike. Mike was in college, and we rarely saw him anymore.
"Hey Sarah, Sarah?" My mom's voice called.
"Yes, mother?" I called, trying to hide my irritation, this was the sixth time she had called my name in the last half hour to ask a question. The door banged opened, and my mom barged inside.
"Have you seen my crockpot?"
"No mother, I have not," I said courteously, keeping my eyes locked on my assignment sheet.
"Oh darn. Oh, by the way, I forgot to ask you, how was school today?"
"School?" I squeaked. Oh you know, it was the most embarrassing day of my life,I cried, got pummeled in the back of the head, fell in love, cried some more, met a gorgeous woman who wanted me to become a stripper. The usual. "It was alright, nothing that special."
"Oh, well that's nice."
"Hey, mom?"
"Yes?"
"When you were in high school, did you care how you looked like?"
"In high school? Oh no," my mom said screwing her face and stepping closer. "I never thought twice about my looks.

Moving schools when you are going into your most embarrassing stage of your life is honestly one of the toughest things I have ever done in my life. Although it was tough at first, it taught me many valuable life lessons. I learned how to adapt and make friends on a whim. I wouldn't be the person I am today if I hadn't gone through these events. Imagine being at supper, forks and knives clinking on the plates. The occasional 'how was school' or 'gunna be pretty icy out there tomorrow' and then out of nowhere your mom says, "I found a new job in Menahga." My mom is an occupational therapist and her company at the time was moving out and a new one was moving in. Pretty much the new company delivered a big "Screw You" to my mom. Thus is why she was on the outlook for a new job. At the time, we were living in Starbuck, MN. We had been there for years. I had a good, established, friend group that I definitely had no intentions of leaving. But when my mom said she had found a job in Menahga, I said, "That's fine, I'll just live here with Nana, Laken, and Sawyer." She shut that down right away. She said I wasn't mature enough. At the time I thought since I was turning thirteen soon, I was plenty old enough. Heck, my older brothers weren't THAT MUCH older than me, but mom wouldn't budge. I was headed to Menahga, two hours north of where I was. The thought in my head was that I was never going to see any of my friends again. I kept asking myself–how am I going to make friends?

An Embarrassing Moment Analysis
In conclusion, the theme of _____eleven ___ is clearly expressed throughout the text. This is important to readers because.... We all go through hormonal emotions, that we've kept during or juvenile times. We were immature, curious children that weren't mature enough to learn from wrong or right. Therefore we learn from those moments and develop a little more developed mindset, which allows us to evolve from those mistakes. Once in awhile, our immature self–swings by, causing a disturbance to our acquaintances or other classmates. Humans are humans, and we go through those embarrassing moments, where our younger self–comes out unexpectedly. However, we learn from our mistake from the past and learn how to proceed and develop a more matured mind.

Some of the embarrassing moments in our lives are worth recalling while others are so disgusting that no one would wish to recall or even be associated with them. That day will forever remain in my mind. I can recall with nostalgia an incident, which took place five years ago. Back at home, my parents would reward my brother and me for the good grades we scored in the term papers. On this one occasion, my mum rewarded me with two hundred dollars for the good grades in the end year papers. In order have fun; I decided to invite my best friends to a hotel for lunch. On arrival at the hotel, I told my friends to order as much as they wished to take. One after another, they placed their orders and immediately the waiters swung into action and...show more content...
Ever since that day, I ceased to going to that hotel. I have this fear that some of the waiters might recall my countenance. It was the most embarrassing moment of my life. Since the events of that day, my friends have always made jokes regarding that fateful day and would all laugh at it. The other day when I was going to the cinema I met with an old good friend of mine who was there when all that happened while on summer vacation. We reminisced for quite sometime and he offered to buy me a drink. We hurriedly entered the hotel nearby only to find other two childhood friends. It was a fantastic but strange twist of events as we further talked about the good old times. Food and drinks were served and we started eating, as we talked oblivious of who had served us. When we had spent some good time inside there, we rise up to go when the bill was placed on the table. The waiter was anxiously waiting for the money. My friend got the money and it was only while he was paying that we realized it was in this same hotel and the same waiter who had held us at ransom. She also was recalling but this time she managed to smile at us. We looked at each other and all we could do was to laugh it was just fabulous. It is amazing how sometimes life can

The Most Embarrassing Incident in My Life
Life is full of unexpected incidents. Some anticipated stories do not happen the way we have always wanted. Some days, nights, ways and fights keep repeating in our life. However, it can be pretty funny to look back to the past where many embarrassing moments occur in our days and nights, leaving an abiding memory that cannot be possibly forgotten. The same goes to me as I'm one of the creatures created by God. Scientists call me Homosapien but the world would rather address me as a human being. There are many embarrassing incidents in my life dictionary and most of them are still playing in my mind. Oh, what a memory. The words broke my heart into pieces. At that particular time, I was once again Get

The most embarrassing moment of my life though me an important lesson about how to ask for help when it is needed. Everyone has an extremely embarrassing experience that seems horrifically terrible at the time, but upon reflection becomes a completely hilarious occurrence in their life. This episode can be anything from falling down the grand staircase in high school, to splattering a pan of chicken in the walk–in cooler at work.
I had been working for the Applebee's for almost two years, in which my primary job was "front house" position serving. I occasionally worked in the kitchen, but not enough to know the entire swing of things that well. This particular night was a pretty ordinary night at the restaurant. I was situated on my...show more content...
Looking back in hindsight, I now ask myself, "What was I thinking?"
I hoisted the pail of chicken and water out of the sink and headed towards the cooler. As I approached to the cooler I rested thebucket on a nearby shelf, and proceeded to try opening the heavy metal door. As the door opened I was greeted with a cool, clammy breeze. I entered the cooler and found that the floor had recently been mopped and was still quite wet. On approximately my third step into the cooler I felt my feet slide out from under me. In an effort to brace myself I dropped the bucket of chicken and began flailing my arms in an effort to grab on to anything in sight! I was now lying on the frozen floor saturated in chicken water, while there was a massive puddle of water around me with various pieces of chicken scattered throughout. I managed to pick myself off the floor and prepared myself to face the management. As I crept to the front of the store, I found Scott, Dan, Jayson, and Tommy standing in a huddle discussing the inventory they had been working on that night. I approached to them and immediately they began to laugh, and asked me what I had gotten myself into this time. For it is known around the store that I am very accident prone, and also it isn't everyday you see a person covered in chicken juice. I began to explain to them what had happened, and they all just stood there in Get more content
My Most Embarassing Moment Essay
When asked about the most important moment in your life, what is the first thought that comes to mind? Is it something beautiful and profound–such as the birth of a younger sibling? Is it something depressingly vivid in it's own way–like the death of a beloved grandparent? Is it something small that had a magnificent effect on you–discovering a lost neighbor cat led you to meet your closest and longest friend, for example? For me, when I try and reflect on the most significant and meaningful moments in my life, instead of remembering the day my mother told me that we were moving to Michigan, or my first day of kindergarten (or even high school), I seem to only be able to conjure up little insignificant lapses of time. I think of when I was 9, standing in my red rubber boots in the middle of our garden, as my mother was trying to take a "calendar picture" (she liked to get custom calendars of my brother and I to send to our relatives every year) of us, thinking to myself that I was going to remember this moment forever. I do not know why 9 year old Emilythought that moment was so important that she deemed it absolutely necessary to remember it for the rest of her life, or why my brain still thinks that it's relevant enough to remember it just as vividly now, 8 years later; however, it did teach me one thing: the most vivid moments in my life are not the most significant.
I've always supposed that I was supposed to find meaning in the more traditionally "important" Get

It was in December, during my Christmas vacation, when I decided to start looking for a summer job. There were many options but the job I decided to apply for was a position as a lifeguard at a waterpark. I filled out an application and was accepted almost immediately. The only thing left was the lifeguard training; little did I know that it was going to be an experience I would never forget.
The aquatic rescue part of the training was held the week of my spring break. I was excited about the training session because I was finally going to meet some of the people that would work with me and get to see what the job was like. The day before the session a meeting was held for all the people who had been accepted. Here I...show more content...
This made my body less buoyant and my speed somewhat slow. There were two sixteen year old girls in the lanes on either side of me who swam with the agility of dolphins. These girls and everyone else beat me to the finish, which did not help my nineteen–year–old ego. I wanted to crawl away and hide but was determined not to let myself be outdone.
The next part of the training turned out to be the toughest. We were required to dive ten feet to the bottom of thepool and retrieve a ten pound weight. Once the weight was brought to the surface we were supposed to tread water for two minutes while keeping the weight above the water line. This appeared to be simple so I dived in, expecting an easy time. I had no trouble getting the weight to the surface and proceeded to tread water with a feeling of undoubtable success. But once again my anti–floating physical quality began to take effect. At one minute and thirty seconds I began to sink and within the next fifteen seconds my head was submerged and I was fighting for air. The water from the pool began flowing into my mouth with each desperate grasp for air; it felt as if an ocean were draining into my body. I remember hearing from under the water the instructor's muffled voice counting down the last ten seconds of the exercise. When it was all over I slowly made my way back to the pool's edge where I was informed by the two young girls that they had no difficulty

1. My Proudest Moment "Today is September 1, 2014," she said. "Something will be done to remember these boys, but put that aside now while you take some time to focus on what is going on now." Four years ago, I lost three friends of mine in a horrific accident. Two days after their passing, I was in a meeting with my principal who knew that I'd be the one to think of a way to memorialize these three young souls, but we were not quite sure how at that time. Two years later in September of 2016, my ideas finally came to fruition. To say that I was proud is an understatement. In just 5 short days, over $18,000 was raised for a cause which was very near and dear to my heart. The memorial project which I played a major role is called the Serenity Garden. It is a memorial area which anyone can go and reflect on the lives of anyone who has passed in my school community. I am extremely proud of this project because I was a large part in creating the script for the promotional video and live assemblies. At the end of the project unveiling, a parent of my friend who passed approached me. She said, "Michael, the words you said today made me prouder than anything that I could have ever Imagined. I never thought I would actually see this day come true." From that day forward, I never felt prouder of my writing. Because of all of the hard work that I put into the project scripts, I was featured on the local news. The newscast was also scripted, so I had a chance to address the whole

My Proudest Moment Essay
I remember the embarrassing moment a friend of mine went through in class a few years ago, when she had organized some chronological images on the wall. The instructor completely tore her work apart because of her way of organization. Now in the world of design, most teachers get very upset when the work is hung crocked on the wall. But this was not the case with my friend. Her work was simply torn apart because of the direction she hung her pictures. Now most people in class, including the teacher and even herself weren't aware of the fact that she simply did that because she came from a middle eastern country where everything is organized from right to left. But I was well familiar with this problem. In fact, I grew up learning three languages at the same time in school. At age seven, I was learning to read and write in Persian, Assyrian, and English. In the beginning, it would take me a minute to remember which way to start from when writing an essay. For those of you who might not be familiar with these languages, Persian and Assyrian start from the right side of the line moving to the left and eventually to the bottom of the page. The numeric characters however, start from the left, and so does English. All these rights and lefts confused me very much, and yet, when I found out that some Asian languages had a top–to–bottom directionality, my mind was blown away. These conflicts made me start thinking about how the world might seem different to an English speaker than

My name comes from German and Jewish and it is Huron. And my name comes from when my dad had a guy he liked that raced and his name was Eli so he named me Elisha because it is religious. I would pick my little brother because I want him to accomplish things in life that they never think you would do. . . For example, like sports players, fashion artist, company CEO of Facebook. And Julian if you see this I want you to know to stay in school do better on grades and make a brighter pay way for your career. Pick smarts over popularity because 95% of the people you see in school you'll never see after school. And I regret picking the wrong choice since day and want you to be the best you can be because I thought fame was the way better than smarts but I was wrong. But someone told smarts are the only things that matter in your whole life. I fear of almost anything really because I worry way too much for example, like what happens if a roller coaster brake and I fall out. Also, I fear death because I want to live forever and do everything I can do in the world before death.I'm scared of heights and more. But I really feel like I need to get over with these so I don't have to worry about things like happening tomorrow. And I feel

My Most Embarrassing Story Of My Story
Memories define who we are. Our lives are the sum of memories, and that makes us the person we are. However, memories and experiences tend to fade over time and by forgetting them we are, by extension, forgetting a part of ourselves. Our earliest memories can be special to us and can represent a lot about our lives in the past. Unfortunately, the earliestmemory that I can remember is quite embarrassing. This memory still has an effect on me today and the experience changed who I am. Since late in elementary school, I've never really been interested in drama or theater of any kind. Acting in general since I was a little kid has just never been a strong suit of mine. Before that, however, in preschool and early elementary, I was regularly involved in school plays. Many factors contributed to my loss of attraction to theater after preschool. One big element was an embarrassing experience that I had related to acting early on in my childhood. I don't remember it as vividly as I used to, but it affects me nonetheless....show more content... All the sports tournaments had concluded and everybody was in a good mood, ready to finish the day with quality acting from four year olds. The event took place outside, with metal folding chairs littered on the grass around what was barely a stage; it was a stone plateau out in the open air, with the most natural lighting available. It was right up against the bright red walls ofthe small school, with the old playground on the left and the muddy field to the right. The stomach pain really started to hit once I crawled onstage and had dozens of people, including my parents and my peers, laughing at me. I was having second thoughts about pushing through it, but "the show must go on". So I continued acting. My role was pivotal in the story, so I had to really sell my canine character. I made my woofs as realistic as possible and I trotted around as persuasively as I could, but I could feel my insides working against

I was wondering what idiot would put my washed clothes back into the dirty basket right at the bottom. "KOHULAN!" I had no time to find him and punch him; I had to pack my bag, after wasting that entire time finding my uniform and I only had 10 minutes. The "Embarrassing" Moment This is a made up story (I couldn't remember an embarrassing experience) So you go to a party at a park with families that are friends and one of the families there is a girl that you have a "crush" on. The day started as you arrive at the park early to set up the tables and the food. You set a grill on fire to cook the meat. The heat of the grill makes your eyes water and the smell of the cooking chicken makes your mouth water at the same time. In one of those families your best friend is included, so he also comes and sets up the goals for a game later on. You dad comes and takes over the grill so you are free to go play practice before the game. You go back to the tables an eagerly wait for the cheeseburgers to be ready. Then you see your "crush" come and butterflies along with many tightened knots take over your stomach. You then feel like you are blushing since your face turns red and gets a lot warmer than usual. After enjoying the food the game will start soon so you head off to the field. You start to think if she will see, and wonder if an impression will be made. The game starts and you look towards the tables and of course she is looking. More butterflies and knots start to take over your insides. The game starts and you score some goals and you look towards her direction and she waves. You then feel like if you start to float and get dizzy. The goalkeeper wants to switch to outfield so you take his position of protecting the goal. Then

A Made Up Story : The Embarrassing Moment
Dear Diary, Today was the most embarrassing day of my life. I hope this will never happen to me again. Here's how my day went.
I woke up this morning around 7:30am. It was the Grand Final day for my Under 17's football side. We were undefeated. I was the full forward and so far I have kicked ninety seven goals. I need at least three more goals this game to get my first one hundred goal season. I was going through my normal Sunday morning football routine. Get up, eat breakfast (nine wheat bix and two glasses of orange juice) and get changed for footy. One of my superstitions is to wear the same footy jocks I've worn all season. Every game I have worn them we have won but for some reason today I completely forgot about them.

It was a perfect day for footy, no clouds in the sky, sunny and a soft oval. Does this get any better I asked myself? From there on it didn't.
In the change room five minutes before we were due to play I realised I wasn't wearing my lucky jocks. It didn't bother me too much but then I remembered we haven't lost a game with out them. So for this game I had to settle for my standard jocks.
The game had started and we were off with a flying start. At quarter time we were up by three goals. My teammates and I were wondering if I was going to kick my hundred goals without my lucky jocks. So far I was off to a good start, I had kicked a goal in the first quarter. By three quarter time we were up by only one goal. I only kicked one more goal so I was on ninety nine for the season. I needed one more goal.
In the last twenty seconds of the last quarter we were down by two points. I led out from the goal square towards the boundary to take a mark but I dropped it. I got away from my opponent so I was running away from the goals with the ball. I turned around running towards the goals. I remembered if I kicked this goal I would have got my hundred goals and we would win the grand final. So I took a few bounces and realised there was a guy running at me. I was running parallel to the goals so it would be a tricky shot but if I got it in I would be a hero. So I went for it. It was curving back into the goals but to my shock horror it bounced off the

That disheartened individual was actually me and the day I had to face the challenge of going to the orthodontist while looking like a whimsical trainwreck. A 16–year–old should not be concerned with what others think. I learned to relax and enjoy each day after this particular embarrassing experience. If I had not dressed up that day and participated in "Spirit Week," I would've never had the courage to talk to the boy that I had been crushing on for months or gain a new friend. Three years have passed since this embarrassing, yet fun day. As I became older, I grew to not care about the perspectives and opinions of other people. One of my life mottos relates to the lesson I learned that day: "When you do not seek or need approval, you are at your most powerful." I know that there will be plenty of embarrassing moments to come throughout my life, but I am much more prepared on how to handle these types of situations. If I happen to fall in front of a group of people, I will probably laugh at myself. I won't have to worry about the negative thoughts or comments that those people may provide since I will most likely never see them Get

The Outfit of My Life
One 's expression of self through style is influenced by forces such as; traditional values in place at home, media 's emphasis on celebrity lifestyles and the pull of peer influence, all culminating in a living expression of self through wearable items I grew up in a religious home with a very conservative mother. Style from the eyes of a younger me was heavily influenced by my mother 's inconspicuous clothing and rather dark color scheme. I rebelled in my own sense of tastes, shorter, more eye catching clothes make up my collection of clothes. By living in a home of constant reminders to keep morality close to one's heart, my sole act of rebellion was to keep my style as non–constrictive as possible.
The closet I keep at home is mostly full of flowy dresses and short skirts. Items that are loud and immodest in nature are what I gravitate towards. My laundry basket is a field of color, enough to satisfy my need to grab attention with my clothes. The atmosphere of my upbringing left little in my power, and in retaliation I have made some rather extreme decisions in order to feel power of my own body. I speak of mytongue piercing, one that I paid for shortly after my eighteenth birthday. Proof to myself that I am the master of my own destiny, and it is no longer up to anyone else how my life is led.
On another hand, my mother 's very traditional views, while not having the desired outcome of keeping me bundled up, did instill an ideal. The Get

Sometimes we undergo experiences so frightening that they shake us to our core. Even after we have had some time to calm down and process it, that feeling of fright is always somewhere deep in the back of our mind. It never really goes away. This is the story of my most frightening moment. ______________________________"You want to follow me home?", my Dad asked me, "These roads can be kind of confusing." "I'll be fine. I'll just use the GPS. See you at home". After I said this, my Dad got in his car and left the banquet hall where the end of the year soccer banquet was being held. I got in my car and fiddled with the radio for a few seconds. After finding the Duke vs. Kentucky college basketball game on the radio, I entered in my home address on the GPS and drove off. As I started to drive, all I could think were happy thoughts: How delicious that pasta was at the buffet; How much fun I had this season with all the guys on the team; How happy I was that I had no homework and could just go home and relax. I listened as the GPS guided me through the many back roads that connected the isolated banquet hall to the rest of civilization. As I got to the light, I heard the announcer on the radio say "And here comes Skal Labissiere, the highly sought–after big man playing in his third game for Kentucky." I also heard my GPS instructing me to "turn left" at the approaching traffic light. And so I did. As I drove down the road, the announcers said "And Jamal Murray
