Resume Reflection

This was a mock resumГ© that I created in my 12th grade AP english class. The resumГ© was used as a practice for when we need to create them for professional jobs later in life. We were asked to create a resumГ© in a standard format and include information about ourselves that would make a potential hiring manager want to pick us. I highlighted all of my achievements and my academic successes, as well as including my interests and contact information. This project helped me understand the proper way to write a resumГ©, and helped me learn how to focus on my strengths. Before doing this project, I really didn't know how to format a resumГ©, nor did I fully know what went into it. This benefited me significantly, and now I feel confident that I Get

I'm writing this letter to tell you about my learning outcomes and experiences in your class. Let me start off by saying that 2017 has been the worst year of my life. Nothing went the way I wanted it to. I experienced so many different things and had been in so many wild situations. I had started losing sight of who I was as a young man which scared me. Until, your English 101 class. This class is one of the highlights of this whole year. I have learned so many things about myself in this class and it changed my overall perspective of life. I am a better me in all aspects especially mentally. Plus, I have developed mywriting skills and became a better writer overall.

I have changed so much as a writer throughout this quarter in your class. For example, coming into your class my conclusion was horrible and I knew it was because teachers told me this in the past, but never really told me how to fix it. Until you finally told me when writing your conclusion ask yourself "So What". This helped me so much and it shows on assignments like the Autoethnography. Like you always say, "If you know better, you do better". The biggest reason my writing skills have improved is because of the amount of writing we do in your class. I have written more papers in this class in one quarter than I have written in 4 quarters in my Honors English class last year. Crazy right? The fact of the matter is that practice makes perfect. The more I practice something the more flaws I will catch and Get more content

This essay will review the literature to critically explore the value and purpose of reflective practice. There has been a rapid increase in the ides of critical reflective practice over the last few decades, (Gould, 2004). Before we look at the value and purpose of reflective practice, it is important to take in account 'reflective practice' carries multiple meanings from the idea of professionals engaging in self–analysis to that of engaging in critical dialogue with others. For example, with reference to teacher education, Larrivee, (2000) argues that reflective practice is fusing together personal beliefs and values into a professional identity whereby critical reflection can take place without staying trapped in unexamined assumptions and expectations of our professional practice. Therefore, from this, it can be concluded that as a teaching professional, it is important to develop reflections on ones' professional and pedagogic knowledge to set aspirational goals for a continuing personal and professional development, in other words, it is a way of life.

Schon (1983), identifies two types of reflection; reflection–on–action (after–the–event thinking) and reflection–in–action (thinking while doing). This clearly distinguishes that reflection can occur whilst the action is carried out as it can still benefit the situation rather than reflecting on how things will be done differently for next time. This tool can be effective as it will allow the professional to assess
