Director’s Note
Welcome to Finding Nemo Jr., a heartwarming and adventurous journey beneath the sea! I’m so excited to share this magical story of friendship, perseverance, and the unbreakable bond between family not just the one we're born into, but the one we build along the way.
As the director, I’ve been inspired by the way this story encourages us to embrace our differences, face our fears, and trust in others when the going gets tough. I love the discovery in the story that our differences are actually our super powers! It's a reminder that even the smallest fish can make the biggest impact, and that together, we can overcome any obstacle With the help of loyal companions we are reminded that sometimes the greatest discoveries we make are the ones about ourselves.
I’d like to thank our dedicated production team, whose tireless efforts have made this show possible. Nicolette Quintero-Ruiz, you have been my right fin through it all and I am beyond thankful that we have found a gem in the sea such as you. Michael Swickard, your expertise took our production to a new level and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to “Swim Together.” Nick Prowse, you constantly amaze me in all you can create and our “Big Blue World” would not have been possible without you. And to the incredible Rosemarie Redman, who is always ready to dive in and help keep us all afloat! Thank you to my own fin-tastic Family, Our Theatre Team here at Windermere Prep., All of our Fish Families, Our Lower School Teachers and Administration – it truly takes everyone in the ocean! And most importantly, to our very special Cast and Crew: Your passion, growth, and dedication have made me so proud. You have all worked very hard to bring our show to life and keep up with the current. It has been such an honor to “Just Keep Swimming” with you all!
