Step Three: Create a Shotlist

A shot list is a document where you map out every scene you need to shoot for your film. It helps you keep track of where you are at and ensures that you have everything you need when you start editing. Visualize what you would like each scene to look like. (Camera angles, camera movement, location, characters involved, equipment you need, lighting, etc.)

Step Four: Create a Shotlist

Step Five: Create a checklist of all your supplies

Camera or Phone

Tripod or friend to hold camera

Microphone or recording device

Good natural light or lights (candle, led lights, lamp)

Actors and costumes

Props and Background

Step Six: Filming!

Follow along your shotlist and start recording! Don’t forget to be ‘quiet on set’ while recording!

And of course always HAVE FUN, BE CREATIVE!

Once you recorded everything you need, it’s time to start editing!
