ith “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” promising to shatter every box-office record this weekend, we asked our Facebook friends to help us find the biggest local “Star Wars” fans. To put it mildly: The Force is strong in West Orange. From father/son duo Tim and Evan Bernardi, who posted a YouTube video of themselves watching the first “Force Awakens” trailer, to Ocoee resident Don Bedwell, whose wife gave him movie tickets for their anniversary, there is no shortage of local love for George Lucas’ masterpiece. So, without further ado, we invite you to celebrate with us as we travel to a galaxy far, far away. And also, if you’re still starving for more “Star Wars,” pick up a copy of our Windermere Observer, which features more local super-fans.
